Villain: The Play of Destiny - Chapter 156
Chapter 156
“Brother, wake up!”
A sweet voice called out to him, and Keith sensed a weight pressing on his waist, which jolted him awake.
“Morning!” He playfully smiled when he caught Kiara straddling him.
“It’s 5 pm!” She pulled her tongue at him and then curiously looked at his eyes which were returning to the shade of deep brown from the haunting amethyst.
It was something that all the girls in the house looked forward to. And they usually took turns waking him up just to watch this phenomenon.
“Let’s go!” She pulled him up and urged him to follow her out of the room.
“At least, let me freshen up.”
“Just come!” She adamantly shook her head and dragged him behind her to the lounge where everyone else was present.
Keith understood the moment he laid eyes on the screen why Kiara woke him up from his sleep and dragged him here in such haste.
On the screen was a rising count of the verified accounts that had registered on their Social Network since last night’s concert, and those numbers took him by surprise.
“Keith!” Celine excitedly hopped on her feet and clapped her hands when the 10 million mark was about to be surpassed.
Cheers broke out in the room as it only took a few seconds to gain tens of thousands of new users, and Kiara happily hugged him.
10 million users in under 18 hours since Memoir had gone live was outrageous, and according to the statistics, the numbers were only accelerating. At this rate, they would end the first day with another 6 million users.
“Congratulations!!!” Rebecca and Celine came forward and excitedly hugged him.
“Thanks!” He chuckled and then hugged all the ladies who stepped forward before smiling at Alana, who was wearing a bright smile on her face. “It’s all thanks to you.” He winked at her.
“Of course, not!” Alana merrily laughed and shook her head. “See!!” She then showed him something on her phone.
It was his account on Memoir, and on his public profile, he already had 4 million followers.
“It’s all your crazy fans!” She giggled. “The music you have put on for them to enjoy for free is not something anybody wants to miss!”
“Is that so? Why don’t you show me your profile then?” He grinned at her, and then everyone around him started giggling.
“Here!” Kiara showed it to him on her phone, and, unsurprisingly, she had nearly three million more followers than him, all there to listen to her Music.
“Memoir will go live in China, Russia, Japan, Korea, and the Sub-Continent in the next seven hours…” An anchor on a live show talked about how the numbers of Memoir, which were outrageously rising despite only going live in Netheria last night, and were projected to cross hundred million by the end of the first week.
Over the next month, Memoir will continue to be available in more countries, and the interest the masses were showing in it assured its ultimate success.
It was everything one wanted in a social network. And people were already praising the genius of Keith and his group for making something that met all the requirements of the masses in just one app.
The Black Forest Group had caught everyone off-guard. They did not give anyone time to prepare for the launch of Memoir, and somehow, they managed to keep something so extraordinary under wraps for the last few months.
People were now sure that Keith had already had Memoir in development when he announced his IT company in December last year, and had lied when he said that they were only planning to use the IT company to assist their other companies.
There were no divided opinions here, as no one called out to him for lying about it. It was how the Business World worked, and deception warranted success.
“I will go get ready, and then we will leave for the Pacific Oriental,” Keith said to the ladies after listening to the news for a while.
They had a Success Party planned tonight at their hotel, and Keith and Amelia had to address a press conference too regarding the surprise they had given the world last night.
His mother, Qingyue, and Ayesha were not going to be present at the party tonight as they all were out of the city, busy with some important businesses.
Qingyue had already sent him a heartfelt message, congratulating him on the success of the Memoir.
Though his mother had not called him or sent him a message, he knew that she was proud of him, and he did not need to hear it from her to be sure of it.
There were lots of big names present at the party when they arrived at the venue, including some of the governors of Netheria.
Keith and Amelia met everyone and thanked them for coming tonight, and after the banquet, the two of them, together with May, addressed the press conference.
The press got all the answers they wanted about Memoir, which mostly revolved around Keith, who came up with the idea, and his IT team that made everything possible.
“What’s next for the Black Forest Group, Mr. Demiliore?” A journalist curiously asked. “Are there more surprises planned for the world?”
“There might be.” He mysteriously smiled. “But frankly, the last few months have been very busy for me. And we already have a lot of things on our hands. The Group’s focus is now entirely on the Noxville Netheria, so nothing major would be coming out anytime soon.”
People understandably nodded to his words. And after the press conference ended, the pair of husband and wife excused themselves from the party, leaving together with their family and returning to Demiliore Manor.
Alana had a flight to catch early in the morning, and since she had barely rested in the last 36 hours, she straight went to the guestroom to get some sleep.
Everyone else was tired, too. But since it was Kiara’s last night at the Manor, they kept her company.
The little miss of the Angelini Family was soon going to turn 15 years old, and her upcoming birthday was her wedding day too.
Danielle was very clear that she planned on adhering to the traditions of the Angelini Family, so, Kiara was not going to be allowed to be in touch with Keith for the next three weeks.
It was something that displeased his little sister, but she was ready to bear staying out of touch with him. It was just three weeks of wait, and then on the 21st of September, her dream would come true.
Keith let the ladies be after they shooed him out of the lounge as they wanted to discuss matters concerning his upcoming wedding with his bride-to-be.
“Marianne.” He called out to the Shadow of his blonde Fiancée, and the girl with the bob cut obediently followed after him, ignoring the playful smile on her Master’s face.
Keith led her to Rebecca’s room and then turned around to look at her.
“Strip.” He mischievously said and smiled when she obediently complied with his command.
Marianne knew exactly why he was asking her to strip. It was not the first time it had happened, but as always, she could not help but blush whenever he asked her to do it.
After she was done taking off her clothes, which left her in a sports bra and a boyshorts, she lowered her head, letting his eyes roam over her body.
She was quite toned, with visible abs, and her healthy honey skin was quite alluring.
Keith calmly stepped forward and teasingly traced her curves with his fingers, before settling his right hand over her left boob, which was a perfect c-cup.
He playfully squeezed the softness and grinned when he found her body trembling as a result.
Her cheeks were already burning in a scarlet blush, with the playful suggestions and whispers of her Master racing through her mind.
Keith knew that Rebecca had been filling up Marianne’s head with some dirty thoughts, and he was quite enjoying her anxious expressions as a result of his ministrations.
Marianne had stepped into the Great Profound Realm in the last week, and though Rebecca had been urging him to eat her Shadow, he had not touched her yet.
There was no rush.
Her heart thumped hard against her chest when he lifted her chin, making her look into his eyes.
“You are beautiful.” He gently said to her, and just a simple sentence eased her anxious heart.
Keith leaned in when a smile crept on her lips and captured them in a kiss.
Her eyes widened in shock, but when he grabbed her waist and pulled her into him, kissing her strongly, she soon lost herself in the bliss of it.
Even though her Master had told her that Keith tasted divinely delicious, which was why she searched for every little excuse to kiss him, Marianne still could not believe how true Rebecca’s words were.
He tasted so intoxicatingly sweet, that she did not want him to stop kissing her. But to her loss, he finally separated from her.
Keith gently traced her cheekbone with his thumb, finding her lost expressions quite adorable. But even though he knew that she was prepared to give herself to him, he did not plan on taking her tonight.
“Sit.” He commanded, and Marianne immediately sat cross-legged on the rug that was placed in the room.
“Take a deep breath and clear your mind.” He instructed her, and the girl who had already been through this process dozens of times, expertly prepared herself for the pain that was about to befall her.
“Ahhh!!” She still cried out in pain when he started breaking her muscles down, but then gritted her teeth and shed the tears, bearing it for the next few minutes until her honey skin had turned red.
As soon as Keith stood up, Marianne closed her eyes and started regulating the One-Fold Heart Pulse Technique.
He observed her for a while, and only after he found her body stop trembling, did he leave the room to head to his bedroom, planning on meditating tonight.
