Chapter 363: Chapter 363: Brother-in-Law
Startled by this sudden shout, Luo Ziling and Yang Qingyin both jumped.

In their fright, their lips naturally pressed tightly together in a solid kiss.
But Luo Ziling reacted quickly, pulling Yang Qingyin behind him in a flash.
They then saw a patrolling security guard yelling at them from a distance.
An embarrassed Yang Qingyin, wishing she could find a hole to crawl into, hid behind Luo Ziling and kept giving him the Soul-Chasing Life-Stealing Pinch, causing him to grimace in pain. Thankfully, the security guard only shouted once and didn’t come over.
Young couples kissing on the street were not uncommon, and it was already too much for the security guard to yell; he definitely wouldn’t come over to investigate further.
He was just playing a prank.

Yang Qingyin quickly pulled Luo Ziling and ran towards the exit without stopping in between.
“You annoying junior,” as soon as they stepped out of the Summer Palace, Yang Qingyin complained non-stop, “It’s so embarrassing, it’s all your fault for bullying me in public.”
“Then why don’t you bully me back in public?” Luo Ziling said with a lecherous smile, moving his head closer to her.
“Not a chance,” Yang Qingyin pushed his head away and then pulled him along, “Let’s go, I’m hungry.”
“Do you still have the strength to walk?”
“No strength left.”
As soon as Yang Qingyin’s words fell, Luo Ziling scooped her up in his arms, causing her to scream in surprise. But as she struggled, Luo Ziling had already sprinted away with her in a princess carry, running faster than many people with nothing in their hands, which made Yang Qingyin hastily wrap her arms around him.
After running a few hundred meters, Luo Ziling set her down and then chuckled, “Do you, a Little Lamb without strength, want me to continue carrying you while running?”
“No way, we’re going to be gawked at,” Yang Qingyin said with a flushed face, tidying her disheveled hair, then suddenly stepped hard on Luo Ziling’s foot and said triumphantly, “That’s for bullying me.”
With that, she turned and walked away.
Luo Ziling’s cry from behind was loud, and upon hearing his scream, Yang Qingyin laughed joyfully.
After such a commotion, the prior awkwardness had vanished.

When Luo Ziling caught up with her, he grabbed her hand and they continued walking forward.
Of course, Yang Qingyin was just pretending to be petulant; holding hands, she didn’t keep up her temper, but happily held Luo Ziling’s hand instead.
The dinner they shared was very warm and cozy.
After dinner, they continued to walk back holding hands, making sure not to forget their disguise with hats and glasses.
With such attire, they didn’t have to worry too much about being recognized and attracting trouble.
As they walked back together, Luo Ziling asked Yang Qingyin in a soft voice, “Tired?”
“Not tired,” Yang Qingyin shook her head and gave Luo Ziling a sweet smile.
Although she felt a bit down before noon, after seeing Luo Ziling, all the gloominess was gone.
Feeling good and having fun with Luo Ziling made everything seem so amusing, filled with warmth and romance—she couldn’t possibly feel tired.
Moreover, time seemed to fly by so quickly; before they knew it, night had fallen.
She liked this feeling.
This feeling was really like poison, making her hopelessly addicted, unwilling to come out of it.

In the past years, she never imagined that being with a boy could elicit such feelings.
Previously, she had indeed dreamt of romantic love, hoping to encounter a man she could love for eternity. However, as a girl born into a wealthy family, she knew that this could be an unrealistic aspiration, as love was a luxury for children of affluent families.
Nonetheless, she hadn’t given up and had made an early agreement with her parents to marry someone she liked and who liked her in return.
But unexpectedly, reality brought her a surprising gift. The young boy who suddenly appeared before her could stir such feelings inside her.
More tender and romantic than she had hoped for.
Unfortunately, their families were archenemies, and the harsh reality might very well tear them apart. However, she did not shrink back; as long as she felt this way with Luo Ziling, as long as he remained so good to her, she would continue to strive.
“If you’re tired, just squeak, and I’ll carry you,” Luo Ziling said to Yang Qingyin with a warm smile.
“Squeak, squeak,” Yang Qingyin squeaked twice, then laughed, “Isn’t two squeaks for not being tired?”
Seeing Yang Qingyin’s playful demeanor, Luo Ziling laughed even more joyfully.
But just then, Yang Qingyin suddenly stopped in her tracks, her eyes fixed on something ahead.
Luo Ziling quickly moved to protect her, and as he followed her gaze, he saw her twin brother, Yang Qingye. Yang Qingye was arm in arm with a girl, heading in their direction with great intimacy.
Luo Ziling and Yang Qingyin had recognized Yang Qingye from afar, but it wasn’t until he was close that he realized standing before him were Luo Ziling and his sister, which gave him quite the scare.

To Luo Ziling’s surprise, the woman holding hands and looking very close with Yang Qingye was not the same one he had seen last time; it was a different woman. Yang Qingyin naturally noticed this too and couldn’t help but turn cold.
“Yang Qingye,” she let go of Luo Ziling’s hand and called out sternly.
“Brother-in-law, save me,” Yang Qingye called out, scared, as soon as he saw his sister’s expression was off. Dropping the girl’s hand, he hid behind Luo Ziling, “My sister is going to hit me, you gotta save me.”
A call of “Brother-in-law” stupefied Luo Ziling and made Yang Qingyin blush.
“Yang Qingye,” she called again angrily, “come here.”
Yang Qingye reluctantly walked out from behind Luo Ziling, hanging his head as he approached Yang Qingyin. He pleaded like a child who had made a mistake, “Sis, this is my new girlfriend, her name is Ning Xiaojing.”
Because she saw the girl who had been holding hands with Yang Qingye standing to the side looking reserved—and she was quite a beautiful and refined-looking girl—Yang Qingyin did not scold him on the spot. Instead, she warned in a low voice, “Don’t be the kind of playboy everyone despises.”
“Sis, I’ll remember your teachings. I’m leaving now; you two enjoy yourselves,” Yang Qingye said, then turned and ran, “Sis, brother-in-law, we’ll hang out together sometime.”
Saying this, Yang Qingye pulled Ning Xiaojing and quickly ran off.
With Yang Qingye calling out like that, Yang Qingyin blushed again, almost wanting to chase him and beat him up.
“Your brother is actually a pretty good person,” Luo Ziling commented on Yang Qingye.
Having heard from Yang Qingyin that Yang Qingye was willing to cover for them, and today he even called him brother-in-law to his face, how could Luo Ziling have a bad impression of him?

“He changes girlfriends every few days, and you still say he’s good?” Yang Qingyin glared at Luo Ziling.
Luo Ziling ignored her comment and leaned in to whisper in her ear, “Did you hear what he just called me?”
Yang Qingyin’s face reddened once more. Angrily, she grabbed Luo Ziling’s ear, “He called you smug.”
Luo Ziling quickly pulled away and then burst into laughter, “He called me brother-in-law. Hey hey! What does that mean, can you tell me?”
Yang Qingyin grew even more embarrassed and vexed, brandishing her claws as she charged towards Luo Ziling.
Luo Ziling turned and fled, with Yang Qingyin chasing desperately after him.
