After quite a while, the guild ambassadors approached and spoke, “Sir, I’ve gotten the full picture. There are now eight guilds including Starfire that have planted their guild flags within ten miles. The sandbar’s guild ambassadors have already crossed, and fifteen minutes from now, this hillside will be where the ownership issue is decided.”
Li Yao nodded and replied, “Ambassador, you can take over the arrangements. We, the Starfire Guild, will never violate the rules set by the faction leaders.”
“Mr. Prairie Fire is truly understanding and magnanimous. You are worthy of being the outstanding talent chosen by the queen. I’ve long heard of your reputation. Guild disputes are, in reality, a struggle between guild masters. With your strength, it should be easy to handle,” said the guild ambassador with much relief, seeing Li Yao’s cooperative attitude.
Li Yao waved his hand and asked, “How many people can I bring this time?”
The guild ambassador cautiously replied, “You can bring one thousand people. Actually, it doesn’t matter since they won’t be involved in the battle.”
Li Yao simply smiled and said, “Better to bring them along. You never know when you might need them.”
Feng Yi announced over the guild channel, “Officers who will be handling the guild dispute with the guild master, we now have one thousand slots. Newcomers are also our brothers, and we will treat everyone equally. In a moment, I will open the guild point rolls. The top thousand can go with the guild master.”
The guild members were excited. They had been confused about the other guilds’ actions, but after Feng Yi’s explanation, they understood. Everyone wanted to go and resolve the dispute.
No one objected to Feng Yi’s method since it was considered fair – it didn’t depend on seniority, but just luck.
Several minutes later, the points roll decided who would participate.
The assembled one thousand followed Li Yao and, under the leadership of the guild ambassador, they walked to a small hilltop.
Many people gathered on the hilltop. The nine guild ambassadors and presidents were all there.
“Nice to meet you, Mr. Prairie Fire.” The other guild ambassadors, too, hailed from the Undead Clan and were not unfamiliar with the rising star, Li Yao.

Li Yao courteously responded to everyone’s greetings with precise gestures. If people didn’t know he is a player, they would have mistaken him for an NPC because of his extraordinary etiquette.
“So prestigious. No wonder you’re so arrogant,” the Raving Whirlwind contemptuously sneered. He wore a large sword on his back, obviously an offensive-type warrior, but his specific elite profession could not be determined yet.
Li Yao glanced at him indifferently without offering a reply, completely ignoring him, and returned to his guild ambassador’s side.
The face of the Raving Whirlwind instantly turned red. As one of the actors in this plan, he knew many details.
Not only did they intend to thwart Starfire’s actions, but they also wanted to embarrass Starfire in public and let everyone know that Starfire wasn’t so great. The embarrassment had to be brilliant.
Of course, under the livestream, they believed they were also figures of prestige, and naturally, they wanted to seize this good opportunity to promote themselves.
Feng Yi smiled faintly at the old acquaintance hiding in the back and said, “Turns out Tanuki is here too.”
“Sister Feng, what a coincidence.” Tanuki hesitated before walking up when he realized he’d been noticed.
The crowd turned to look at Tanuki. Tanuki was a well-known broadcaster in Huaxia. He paled slightly in comparison to Feng Yi, but he had a good number of fans.
Viewers in the livestream started to get excited when they saw Li Yao, urging Tanuki to go greet him.
“Whether it’s a coincidence is hard to say,” Feng Yi stated indifferently and then fell silent.
“It’s a misunderstanding. I didn’t know it was you guys. I just owed someone a favor,” Tanuki hurriedly explained.
Upon seeing Li Yao and then Feng Yi, he instantly regretted getting involved. Befriending these two wasn’t something he wanted. Inwardly, he had cursed the person who involved him in this a thousand times over, but there was no turning back now.
Li Yao chuckled, “So, you’re Tanuki. It’s an honor to meet you. Unfortunately, I’m busy today. We should catch up some other time.”
Tanuki breathed a sigh of relief when Li Yao defused the tension with Feng Yi and spoke cordially to him.
“Sure, sure.” Tanuki was worrying about not being able to make Li Yao’s acquaintance. He was very clear that Li Yao likely knew why he was here, and since he was willing to let bygones be bygones and showed an interest in knowing him, Tanuki decided to foster a good relationship with Li Yao.
The presidents of the other guilds frowned. Tanuki was meant to be on their side, but now openly sided with Starfire, much to their annoyance.
Seeing that Li Yao had no interest in meeting the members of the other guilds, the Starfire guild ambassador quickly said, “Now that we are all here, let’s follow the rules. These guilds claim that the Starfire guild has occupied the location they wanted, so according to the rules, the other guild masters have to challenge Prairie Fire. If they win, they get the location. If others want to establish a guild, they have to choose a new spot to plant their flag.”
Li Yao nodded and said, “It seems we chose a good location for the guild. So many people are interested, and I didn’t even notice earlier. Otherwise, I would surely have appreciated the value. Sadly, I don’t want to give it up yet.”
Li Yao’s fighting spirit had been provoked. Not only do the people behind him call for a livestream, but it seemed their intentions were not just to delay time.
There were surely experts amongst these people. Their purpose was very clear – some of them must be confident in challenging Li Yao, perhaps having completed a certain task at level 20, resulting in a substantial increase in strength.
Of course, it’s also possible that they have powerful items and want to plot against Li Yao. In any case, if they can defeat Li Yao, they will crush Starfire’s morale.
The guild ambassadors nodded, and the Starfire ambassador stepped forward and said, “Mr. Prairie Fire is magnanimous and doesn’t mind your deliberate provocations. So, let’s proceed as usual. If any of you believe that you can defeat Mr. Prairie Fire, step forward.”
The Raving Whirlwind, who had lost face to Li Yao, immediately jumped in the center, pointing with his sword at Li Yao, “Do you really think you’re invincible? As arrogant as you are, what do you count for? Today, I’ll let you understand that there are sky beyond skies, and people beyond people.”
