Villain: The Play of Destiny - Chapter 165
Chapter 165
Keith helplessly shook his head when he returned to his room after a morning run and found the girls surrounding his little wife.
Rebecca and Celine were mischievously talking with Kiara, which was causing her to blush furiously. And she was not the only one who was blushing. Qingyue, Nana, and Ingrid were blushing too.
He smirked when his little sister aggrievedly looked at him, and then winked at her before heading inside the dressing room.
“Alright, ladies. Can you please leave me and my little wife alone now?” He said as soon as he returned to the room.
“Beast!” Qingyue yelled out and then burned in a furious blush when he deadpanned at her.
“What?” He blankly asked and then understood that she had mistaken his intentions. “You can always join us if you want.” He mischievously said.
“You’re shameless!” The grey-eyed girl panicked and then stood up to walk out of the room, quite fearful of him after listening to Rebecca and Kiara’s words.
Celine was openly laughing at her daughter’s reaction but then suppressed her laughter and seriously looked at Keith.
“Kiara is still young. Don’t be too rough on her.” She advised him.
He helplessly shook his head.
“I think we have a misunderstanding here.” He said to them. “I and Kiara need to talk in private about something. Please excuse us.”
“Oh…” Celine seemed surprised. “Sorry!” She hurriedly apologised for misunderstanding him and then left the room, pulling Rebecca with her.
Nana and Ingrid followed them out as well and only he, Kiara, and Amelia remained in the room.
Amelia had just stepped out of the dressing room, and she silently walked over and sat down at her study table, working on something.
She knew what he was going to do, and he did not feel any need to ask her to leave the room as well.
“Come.” He gently said to Kiara, who got out of bed and gingerly walked up to him. “I will help you find your first Aura Node now.” He cupped her face and planted a kiss on her forehead.
“Okay!” She dropped her act of being a little mad at him and brightly smiled.
Kiara knew exactly what she had to do and then sat down cross-legged on the rug, taking a few deep breaths, and cleared up her mind of all the distracting thoughts.
It took a good few minutes for her heart to calm down and only then did Keith sit behind her and started tracing her back in strange patterns.
He had already secretly helped in exciting the Aura Nodes inside her heart, and it only took Kiara a few minutes to sense them with his help, and then she was lost in a world of new sensations.
“So fast?” Amelia curiously asked.
“I secretly used a technique early in the morning. After sleeping with me, the Aura Nodes inside her body were already quite excited.” He walked over to her and explained it to her. “Good morning, Love!” He planted a kiss on her head.
“Good morning!” She sweetly smiled at him and then pulled him down by his collar to capture his lips in a kiss. “You were gentle with her, right?”
“I was.” He nodded to her and nudged his nose with hers. “What are you working on today?”
“The haunted house for the Amusement Park.” She informed him and then showed them the designs she had already drawn for it.
“I guess this one was suggested by Kiara?” He guessed after he looked at a design that was a little over the top.
“Yes.” She lightly giggled and nodded her head. “This one was suggested by Rebecca.” She pointed to another one. “And this was Ingrid.” She pointed at another one, which resembled a Castle that Keith knew was inspired by the home Ingrid was born in. “I am planning to incorporate all three of these designs into one final design.”
“Okay.” He nodded to her.
For anyone else, it would have been a near-impossible task, but for the Sacred Architect, the Inheritor of the Runic Monarch, it was a very simple project.
“Are you going to help Nana and Ayesha cultivate too before you leave?” Amelia suddenly asked after a few minutes whilst drawing the design.
“No.” He shook his head. “Both of them have incomplete Aura Nodes in their bodies. They can not cultivate.”
“And?” She asked, pretty sure that he had something in mind for them.
“It will take time, but there are indeed some ways I can use to help them.” He told her.
“Mother is quite upset with your decision to leave.” She told him.
“I know.” He sighed and shook his head. “But it’s something that I want to do.”
Amelia nodded her head to him. He knew that she too did not want him to go away for a few years, but she would not stop him.
“You should tell Rebecca and Qingyue about your decision soon.” She advised him.
“I will.” He nodded his head to her and then silently watched in fascination how she drew a unique design for the Haunted House of their Amusement Park in the new Noxville.
“How’s it?” She smiled and asked.
“Perfect!” He brightly said and planted a kiss on her cheek. “Do you have any plans for the next few days?”
“Depends on what you have in mind.” She smiled and said.
“Let’s go out for a hike on route 9. Mount Gladion looks perfect this time of the year as no clouds are covering it.”
“Just us?” She curiously asked.
“Yes.” He nodded.
“Others might mind.”
“Then let them mind for now.” He chuckled and said. “I will make it up to them at some other time.”
“When do we leave?”
“Tomorrow before dawn.”
“I will get things ready.” She nodded to him and tidied up the table before going out to ask Viola to help her with the preparations.
Keith watched over Kiara for some time, and when Ingrid arrived in the room, shying her eyes away from him, he helped her sit down in his lap and hugged her small waist.
“Thirsty?” He knowingly asked, and the auburn-haired girl timidly nodded her head.
He planted a kiss on her head and then allowed her to bury her face in his neck, permitting her to feed off him.
Keith did not even flinch this time as she pierced her fangs into his skin, and just like last time, she was done feeding in a few seconds and fell into a deep sleep.
It got him curious again as he could not figure out exactly why it was happening. Vampires were not supposed to fall into a deep sleep right after feeding. And what was strange was that her cultivation speed had dramatically risen after she drank his blood last time.
Now, this breathtakingly beautiful Vampire Princess was on the brink of stepping into the Great-Profound Realm.
Keith had a hunch that after waking up, she would have already stepped into the next Realm.
There were certain answers he needed and the only one who could answer his questions was the System that was hibernating right now.
Deciding not to lose himself to his thoughts again, Keith got up and gently placed Ingrid on his bed and helped take her shoes off before pulling the comforter on her.
He looked at the clock, which showed that it was almost 11 am, and he decided to go and meet his grandparents.
Raizer and Diana arrived yesterday morning to attend his wedding, and they were going to leave again tomorrow morning.
He had not had enough time to spend with them for a while now.
Keith knocked on the door twice before entering his Grandparents’ room. And he found his grandmother talking with her secretary whilst his grandfather was sitting in the corner, going through some files.
“Keith!” Diana brightly said. “Please, excuse us, Merly.”
“Yes, my lady.” Her aged secretary bowed to her and smiled at Keith before leaving the room.
Diana stood up and hugged him tightly, and he allowed her to hold him like that until she was satisfied.
“You have grown a little taller since we met in Eden.” She commented.
“Yes, I am over 6’3 now.” He nodded to her and then seriously looked at her. “And you have been neglecting your health lately.”
“Just another year and a half and then I will always be here at our house with you and your beautiful girls.” She sweetly said.
He nodded to her and then pulled her with him as he helped her sit down on the stool of the dressing table.
“I will give you a check-up.” He strictly said, leaving her no way to make any excuse.
Diana smiled as she watched her grandson in the mirror seriously working on her back. She did not know what he was doing, but soon she started feeling very warm inside her body. It was a comforting warmth, and then there was this ethereal feeling of lightness that engulfed her that she nearly dozed off right then and there. However, Keith held her shoulder and kept her in the sitting position.
“Ehh…” She opened her eyes again when she felt herself being lifted, and then smiled as her grandson laid her on the bed and pulled the comforter on her. “Keith… I feel so light…”
“I know. Sleep.” He assuredly smiled at her. “You will feel much better after you wake up.”
“Mhm.” She cutely nodded to him and dozed off.
Keith gently took off her eyeglasses and placed them on the side table, and then he walked up to his grandfather.
“How’s she?” Raizer asked him.
“She was fatigued, and her ligaments were starting to grow weaker. There was some inflation too, leading to joint pains. She should be fine now after she wakes up.
The old man nodded to him and then smiled.
“Up for a game of chess?”
“Always.” He brightly said and then they both walked over to the next table where the chessboard was placed.
“Let’s see how much you have improved.” His grandfather smiled at him and he took the whites and made the first move, and for the next hour, both of them just silently engaged in a game of chess, only occasionally talking about some miscellaneous things.
