Richelle waved her hand with a smile, “Alright, I believe this reason is legitimate. Anyway, Lewis Group is just so wealthy that it doesn’t care about those petty profits, right?”

Roy Lewis shook his head in denial.

“It’s not that we don’t care about the money, but to be honest, investing in the film and television industry can be incredibly profitable if you have a good eye for it. However, Lewis Group can indeed invest in many other industries, so it’s just my personal preference to avoid this one.”

Richelle couldn’t help but worry, “But I’m just temporarily in charge, and sooner or later you’ll have to take over this business.”

Roy Lewis didn’t seem to mind.

“Isn’t William Bailes and his team specialized in animation and film? They wouldn’t do that kind of gift-giving, and besides, the money is in my hands. If they do something against the rules, we’ll just terminate the contract. Don’t worry.”

“Our competition with Mason Lilliput didn’t start with this partnership with William Bailes, and it certainly won’t end because of it. If we are always trying to avoid him and not making him our enemy, does that mean he’s already won?”

After careful consideration, Richelle realized that he seemed to be right.

“Yes, you’re right. If we’re hesitant because of them, it would make it seem like we’re scared of them.”

Roy Lewis reached out to rub her head and gave her a dazzling smile.

“So don’t think too much about it, just work hard and do your best. Whether it’s the Lilliput family or the Thompsons, we’ll strike back if anyone dares to provoke us!”

Roy Lewis’s assurance caused Richelle to let out a sigh of relief.

Then, she changed the topic back to their family and talked about the elderly and the children.

After Roy Lewis had eaten, she sent him upstairs to take a shower while she cleaned up.

When she returned to the bedroom, Roy Lewis was still showering, so she grabbed some clothes to change into and prepared to shower in the next room.

“Roy, I’m going to shower in the next bedroom!”

She knocked on the bathroom door and told Roy Lewis, who was inside.

Roy Lewis shouted from the inside, so Richelle waited outside the door.

None of the kids had come to bother her, so when she finished her morning routine and went downstairs, the three children gathered around her.

“Mommy, are you going to take us to school later?”

Richelle didn’t plan on it initially, but the children who didn’t usually insist on her taking them suddenly asked her so clearly they wanted her to take them today.

“Of course, it just so happens that Mommy isn’t too busy today.”

She didn’t know if the kids believed her words or not.

Anyway, in the hearts of the siblings, Daddy and Mommy were always busy and had little free time.
