The Founder of Qi Cultivation, Reincarnates? - 454 Chapter 451- I Remember (4)
“Mai Rong, what is this? Was that not the Soul Nourishing pill?”
Mai Rong hearing this became more enraged, and she spat out.
“Fucker! I’ll kill you!!”
She then charged at Gu Jin. A long sword glowing with a dangerous frigged aura appeared in her hands before she swung it towards Gu Jin.
“Wait you crazy woman, listen to me!”
Gu Jin yelled as he awkwardly jumped out of the way of the sword slash.
BANG!
From the sword came a torrential amount of frigid energy that completely covered several houses in several layers of ice.
That sword was actually a high-grade Spirit Artifact. And although it wasn’t as powerful as a top-grade Spirit Weapon, with the abundance of Yin Energy in the surrounds and the weapon being an Ice-elemental Spirit Artifact, it was showing prowess almost on par with a top-grade Artifact.
Mai Rong who cultivated Ice Elemental Qi, was one of the people who saw an increase in battle power due to the environment. Though Gu Jin wasn’t afraid to fight her even then, he was in no mood after discovering the abnormality of the pill.
After dodging several more sword slashes, Gu Jin frustratingly yelled.
“Crazy bitch! How many times must I say it before you stop attacking me?! That wasn’t the Soul Nourishing pill!!”
With disheveled hair and labored breath, Mai Rong finally heard Gu Jin through her anger and she paused attacking him.
Not only Gu Jin, but her fellow disciples all let out a breath of relief. They two were caught up in Mai Rong’s crazed attacks.
“You destroyed the evidence with your wild attacks, but when that box was initially destroyed, it lack the pill’s aroma.”
Mai Rong frowned at Gu Jin’s words but still looked down at the remaining box in her hand with suspicion. It was supposed to contain the Nascent Soul formation pill.
Mai Rong tentatively unlock the box and then opened it.

When she looked back down at the pill, what she saw was something completely different.
Absolutely nothing.
She didn’t see anything inside the box. Even the aroma she felt was completely gone.
Mai Rong was so dumbfounded she stood there looking at the empty box in silence. Then as if she refuse to believe she was tricked, she turned over the box to see if the pill would fall out of some hidden compartment.
After shaking it a few times and seeing nothing come out, Mai Rong’s chest began heaving up and down.
“Pfft…”
Gu Jin was heard stiffing back a laugh, but when Mai Rong glared at him he hurriedly flew into the air. He also formed a hand seal to retrieve the blue fan sneakily.
‘Since those people had managed to fool Mai Rong, that means they still had the pills. I need to hurry before I lose their trail. It hadn’t been too long since they escape so I should be able to catch up to them. When I do, I’ll also have to confront that bastard as to where he got those Divine Firestones.’
As Gu Jin shot off in the direction Yang Su and the others left in, he left behind Mai Rong wildly swinging her sword in all directions.
This was her true personality. If she was in control she would be calm and unperturbed, but if things didn’t go her way her personality would do a complete 180 and she would become psychotic.
As Gu Jin flew on the path Yang Su and the others take, he followed their trail to an ordinary building. Gu Jin landed in front of the building with a frown.
It was a closed shop that sold miscellaneous items.
Gu Jin lifted his palm and destroyed the door. After stepping over the wooden splinters he looked around and his frown deepen.
It was just an ordinary shop, nothing more.
Gu Jin exited the shop and flew into the air. He scanned the surroundings with his Spiritual Sense and found a fainter trail than before.
“Are you trying to cover your tracks? It’s no use, I’ll still find you and take back what’s mine.”
Gu Jin smiled wickedly and immediately shot off following the new trail. However, at the end of this trail was another ordinary shop.
Gu Jin’s heart dropped upon seeing this.
Everything repeated once more and Gu Jin exit the shop with slight anger bubbling in his heart.
However, this slight anger increased as each trail he found would lead him to another building.
Because Gu Jin refused to give up on catching Dai Hee and the others, and he had no other leads as to where they were, he would go on to search countless shops and Inns until the next day.
Meanwhile, somewhere extremely far away, Dai Hee and the others appeared from the void. They had used Tai’s ability to not only fool Mai Rong with illusions but had Gu Jin go on a wild chase throughout the night.
After everyone appeared, Dai Hee released a sigh before saying.
“Never would I thought brother Tai was a Void Beast, that’s incredible! But… why do you keep on calling me master?”
Tai, who was in Dai Hee’s hand leap out. But before he touched the ground Tai transformed into his human form.
Dai Hee showed a shocked expression at this, but seeing that he was the only one with this reaction he realize everyone else had known about this.
“This… I don’t know how to feel after seeing this.”
Dai Hee said this with a forced smile on his face. But he soon sighed and said while turning to Jun.
“Brother Jun, I will never forget your kindness tonight. Everyone too, thank you for your help. I will take my leave now. I don’t want to stay any longer and bring more trouble to you all. Since I have the pills everyone will be coming after me instead. Goodbye.”
Dai Hee bowed to everyone before turning to leave.
But Tai couldn’t help but suddenly call out.
“Master, you…”
Dai Hee froze in his steps.
“…I never wanted to address this issue because I didn’t how to. But… did you all help me because you think I’m someone else?”
Dai Hee didn’t turn around to see the complicated emotions that appeared on Yang Su and the other’s faces.
“I’m grateful for all of your help, but… but I’m not the person who you think I am. Sorry.”
Dai Hee’s figure then rose into the air.
Jun couldn’t help but feel his chest constrict when he heard Dai Hee’s words. But suddenly, his face changed and he yelled.
“Wait! Brother Dai Hee!!”
Dai Hee didn’t stop but instead continue to fly up. He thought Jun was calling out to him to get him to stop, but he was actually wrong.
As soon as Jun yelled, a dark figure suddenly leap from a building nearby towards Dai Hee.
Dai Hee sense this person as soon as he made his move and quickly turned to confront him.
Swoosh!
A red saber light bore down on Dai Hee. With a loud clang, he was able to block the person’s saber but he was knocked back.
The person followed up with another attack, not giving Dai Hee any time to gather himself.
