Rewind System: Vampire Harem In The Apocalypse - Chapter 114: Hiatus
Chapter 114: Hiatus
Xavier walked by the door the Sangrea’s room staring at it for a few seconds before averting his eyes from it and onto the metallic cube which he was holding.
‘…I still haven’t figured out the next step.’ He thought to himself
The puzzle had been solved yet it was still unresponsive. Xavier could tell it was missing some sort of trigger, but just what was it?
‘I can head out without it… But this is an ancient relic. I have a feeling it’ll be useful.’
[Ancient Relic]
[Cube Of Infinity.]
[Insert name] was the only shot Xavier had at figuring out the next step, unfortunately for him she was probably still asleep from overworking herself trying to figure this out.
Xavier stopped by the mansion’s window and glanced outside it. The dark clouds were still present, the rain was still pouring.
His eyes narrowed when he noticed the garden’s puddles were joining together. The water level was rising.
‘At this rate it won’t be long until there’s a flood… I’ll need to stock up on more supplies while I’m out.’
Xavier’s eyes returned over to the room, he gazed at it intensely. Sangrea had been waiting for him in that room, she probably hadn’t yet left.
As he recalled their plans for the night, his expression grew slightly flustered.
‘I was planning on leaving now but… Based on the fact that [insert name] is still resting, it’s better to wait it out till tomorrow. I’m going to need her to execute my plan, after all.’
‘Tomorrow is the right time… There’s no need to rush. I’ll get some rest today and leave by tomorrow.’
Xavier walked staring at the grand artistic patterns on the door as he grabbed the handle.
‘That’s right, I still have something to do before I leave.’ He thought to himself.
Quietly, Xavier turned the handle and pushed the door open.
“…”
Upon entering the first thing he noticed was the sweet fragrance permeating throughout the air, a strong scent of fresh roses. The lights were off, but he could see clearly through his vampire sight.
The room was just like how he’d remembered it, large with the giant king bed by the end.
Xavier slowly approached the bed staring at the figure laying on it. It was Sangrea who was fast asleep, or at least that’s what it seemed like.
Xavier could tell she was faking her sleep as her brows twitched with every step he took towards her. Her acting was horrible, but Xavier decided to play along.
“Looks like she’s already asleep…” He muttered as his eyes fell on the clothes she was wearing.
She’d changed from a dark dress to a dark night gown making her all the more enticing. It’s

Xavier awoke in the following morning with the Sangrea fast asleep beside him. She had a satisfied look on her face
A slight smile grew on his face as he stared at her cute expressions.
The smile quickly faded however, as he remembered what he’d planned on doing upon waking up.
“Well then… I guess it’s time.” He muttered as a dark, cold expression grew over his face.
Slowly he got up from the bed, picking up his clothes from the floor in the process. Piece by piece, he began to dress himself whilst thinking of the best way to leave without alarming everyone.
Xavier originally planned to leave by himself, but after calming down and thinking things over, he realised that wasn’t the way to go about things.
Xavier stared at his reflection as he plopped his head out through the collar of his T-shirt.
“I’m taking Sangrea & Sylvia, they’ll be somewhat useful
