Abigail got in the car and dialed Aunt Claudia’s number.
“Abigail, where are you?” Aunt Claudia clutched her phone, nervously peeking inside the villa. Abigail had left at eight in the morning, and now it was four in the afternoon. She wasn’t back yet, and Aunt Claudia was worried about her.
“Aunt Claudia, I have something to do tonight and won’t be back. I booked a hotel room for you online. You can head over now, and I’ll find you there tomorrow.” That day, since Abigail was not there, and the Taylors mother and daughter were at the hospital, they wondered if Jackson Taylor might take out his anger on Aunt Claudia.
Upon hearing that, Aunt Claudia replied, “Don’t worry, Abigail, and don’t waste your money on a hotel. The allowance from the madam is limited, and I’m fine. Just come back soon.”
After that, Aunt Claudia hung up the phone. Holding the groceries she had bought for Abigail, she was about to walk into the house when she met Jackson, whose hand was bandaged. Scared, she stepped back and stuttered, “Jackson… Mr. Jackson…”

…
In the car.
Abigail frowned as she hung up the phone, sent the hotel address and room number to Aunt Claudia, and reassured her once more.
Pullan’s phone rang. It was a call from Piers’ Mansion, urging her to return.
The car drove faster, and Abigail hurried back to Piers’ house where the little one was wreaking havoc.
“Miss Green, thank goodness you’re back. The young master refuses to feed properly. Please take a look,” Kelly said, handing the baby over to Abigail.
Abigail held the little one, smiled, and playfully pinched his ear, “Little rascal, why won’t you feed properly?”
The little one in her arms ignored her, rubbing against her chest continuously.
Abigail blushed as other people were watching. She quickly changed the subject by putting the pacifier into the baby’s mouth, “Kelly, has Elder Piers named the baby?”
She had been so busy feeding the baby these past few days that she’d forgotten to ask about his name.
“His nickname is Teddy, but I’m not sure about his legal name,” Kelly only referred to the baby as the young master, rarely using his name.
Abigail was taken aback, “Teddy?”
(vitag.Init = window.vitag.Init || []).push(function(){viAPItag.display(“vi_765923973”)})
“Yes, Elder Piers thought that as Mr. Piers was frail, he decided to name the baby Teddy, signifying strength,” Kelly whispered.
Teddy… Ah.
Abigail thought, “…” Is this a joke?
If they have another kid, would they name the eldest Teddy and the younger one Teddy Two?
She suddenly found it hard to look at the baby in her arms, unable to picture his future sturdy build.
Recalling Abigail’s physique, Kelly added thoughtfully, “Elder Piers really likes your figure, you know? He says you’re strong and healthy.”
“Ha ha,” Abigail feigned a laugh. Yes, she’d given birth to a hefty boy who weighed over eight pounds, “Eat well, Teddy, so you’ll grow big and strong.”
As for her physique, she really hoped to put an end to that topic.
What good does it do because Elder Piers likes it? She doesn’t.
After having 60ml of breast milk, the little one was still not satisfied, whining for more. Kelly had to continue using the milk pump.
Abigail took this opportunity to shoo the maternity nurse out and locked the door to breastfeed the baby in private.
After two embarrassing incidents, Abigail didn’t want to experience that awkwardness again.

Feeding on his mother’s milk, Teddy was very happy. He kept bumping against Abigail’s chest joyfully.
Unable to resist, Abigail pinched the little rascal’s ear as he continued to feed merrily. Finally, he fell asleep in her arms.
When Kelly emerged from the room, the little one was sound asleep. She carefully took the baby from Abigail, “We can’t have him get used to sleeping with you; otherwise, he won’t leave.”
Abigail nodded. As a medical student, she knew about infants’ habits, but her heart softened when she looked at Teddy in his crib.
Being from the Smith family, she had rarely experienced maternal love. At 27, she had never thought of marriage and childbirth, but after reincarnating into a 19-year-old, she became a mother before even getting a chance at love.
Fate can sometimes be absurd.p>
