Prodigy With Alternate Multiverse Chat Group System - Chapter 267: Mana Wings
Chapter 267: Mana Wings
Looking back at the past, Alisceon couldn’t help but think that she was an unlucky child. She even thought about what would happen if she wasn’t born into this world and never became a burden to her late mother.
If she hadn’t existed in this world, her father wouldn’t have remarried and the crown prince would be the only child. Therefore, there wouldn’t be a battle for the throne and her brother wouldn’t have been pressured because of that.
Snapping Alisceon out of her reverie, Allen gently patted Alisceon’s head as his hands caressed her silky smooth golden blonde hair.
“You will be my little sister from now on. You can call me brother Allen or just brother.”
Allen accepted Alisceon’s proposal to become her older brother. As he had thought before, he wouldn’t mind having a cute little sister like Alisceon.
Hearing her teacher, no, her brother’s reply, Alisceon couldn’t help but cry out tears of joy.
Waiting for Alisceon to recover her composure, Allen on the other hand thought of ways to teach Alisceon in improving her mana control. He could even use his <supreme alchemist=””> talent to brew an elixir that could improve Alisceon’s mana capacity which was comparable to an 8th Circle Mage.</supreme>
But Allen focused on making Alisceon have better control over her mana than having more mana. After all, what’s the point of having more mana when the mage can’t even control it?
It was like someone who had too much money but couldn’t even spend all of it. It was better to have lesser mana but more control than more mana but lesser control.
With that in mind, Allen already planned for Alisceon to improve her mana control before he would improve her mana capacity.
“Bro- brother…”
Alisceon muttered as she looked expectantly toward Allen and she wasn’t disappointed as Allen accepted her words while he continued patting her head. Allen’s actions only made her blush further.
After Alisceon recovered from the surge of emotions she had experienced before, Allen decided to start their magic lesson.
“Since you don’t have any elemental affinities, we will focus on improving your mana control so that you can use your mana as your means of offense and defense.”
“Most mages, if not all, ridiculed those who used mana manipulation as their means of offense and defense mainly because it is difficult to do so. In most cases, it is not worth it to pursue mana manipulation instead of learning magic spells. But since you don’t have any elemental affinities, you can only pursue the path of learning mana manipulation.”
Allen informed Alisceon about mana manipulation as he taught her about the pros and cons of using it. After that, he decided that he would perform a demonstration for Alisceon about mana manipulation so that she would be able to know the extent of using mana manipulation.
“I will show you how you can use your mana manipulation after you master it to the point that you can use it as if it were your limbs.”
After saying those words, Allen let out a surge of mana from his mana reserves. A dense coat of mana enveloped Allen’s entire body until it focused on his back. A pair of dark blue wings manifested on Allen’s back as he started flapping his mana wings.
Using his dark blue mana wings, Allen flew in the air but remained only a few meters above ground so that Alisceon would be able to see how he performed it.
Allen didn’t regret accepting Alisceon as not only his student but also his little sister since her talent in magic was indeed prodigy-level. After all, it only took her several seconds to witness his mana wings manifestation and she already started copying what he did.
Unlike Allen’s dense dark blue mana, a pair of light blue mana wings appeared at the back of Alisceon. Alisceon started getting hang of controlling her mana wings as she started flapping the pair of light blue mana wings on her back.
After Alisceon successfully controlled her mana wings, she continuously flapped them until she flew a meter above ground before descending back to the ground. It seemed that Alisceon’s limit of flight with her mana wings was only a meter above ground but since she only started learning about it, it was already an excellent achievement.
Alisceon was elated when she found out that she could use her mana to fly in the sky but was later sad that she couldn’t fly in the sky yet.
“You don’t have to be sad, Alisceon. It’s already an excellent achievement for you to learn mana wings just a few moments after I demonstrated it. Even if you don’t have any elemental affinities, your talent in magic is still evident.”
“It won’t take long for you to become proficient in it. Just don’t forget to keep on practicing since talent along with hard work never betrays.”
Allen motivated Alisceon to keep on training her mana control as he deactivated his mana wings, causing his dark blue mana to return to his mana pool.
Allen’s mana was a darker shade of blue due to his dense mana which meant that his mana quality was a lot higher than the average mage. After all, the Mage’s Association had already registered him as an 8th Circle Mage and accepted him as the Supreme Mage, the strongest mage in existence.
Of course, Allen anticipated that there would be troubles that came along with his Supreme Mage title and not to mention being Alisceon’s magic teacher. It was without a doubt cause him troubles such as being involved in royal politics. But since he had already accepted Alisceon as his little sister, he would help her and support her in her every action.
That was what he would do as the Supreme Brother. He would support her little sister even if she decided to destroy the world. Unlike a certain mathematician chat group member of his that did otherwise.
While Allen was overseeing Alisceon’s magic practice, he was startled when he received a message from his chat group members.
