Chapter 251: Arriving At The Gaia Kingdom
After traveling for half an hour, Allen, with his <Supreme Locater> talent, already knew that the Gaia Kingdom was already near.
During those minutes that they spent traveling, they often encountered magic beasts due to the abundance of magic beasts in the Mystic Forest. Those magic beasts that they had encountered were taken care of by Deus and John.
As for the magic beast that was out of Deus and John’s league, Allen easily took care of it with his immense mana and absurd mana control. He had even defeated a Highest Realm Initial Stage magic beast without stepping out of the carriage, much to Alisceon’s surprise.
Allen easily defeated a Highest Realm Initial Stage magic beast, while Alisceon’s royal knights and knight commander couldn’t even defeat a High Realm Intermediate Stage magic beast. Being aware of that, Alisceon understood how powerful her teacher was.
With her teacher’s guidance, Alisceon was confident that she could become one of the strongest mages in the world!
If she couldn’t achieve that, then she wouldn’t dare call herself Allen’s student, or else she would stain his reputation. Not that Allen even cared about something as meager as his reputation.
The defeated magic beast was placed in their respective system inventory. So the magic beast that was defeated by Deus and John would be stored in their system inventory while the magic beast that Allen had defeated was stored in his system inventory.
Alisceon had already told him about the existence of the Adventurer’s Guild, and with her recommendation, Deus and John could get their adventurer’s licenses, while she would help Allen obtain his title and rank in the Mage’s Association.
After all, Allen was still an unregistered mage, so if he wanted to have an identity as a powerful mage, he would need to register at the Mage’s Association. And with Alisceon’s recommendation to use her status as the first princess, it wouldn’t be difficult for Allen to register at the Mage’s Association.
During their travels, while John and Deus were taking care of the weaker magic beast that tried to attack their carriage, Allen and Alisceon were having a tea party. And because of that tea party, Allen had a conversation with Alisceon as they talked about the common sense of this world and all the knowledge he needed to know about this world.
Alisceon didn’t question Allen on why he was asking such common knowledge since he had already explained that he lived in seclusion and had never bothered with the affairs of the mortal world. She accepted his reason since she knew that he didn’t need to lie to her if he ever wanted something from her.
After Allen and Alisceon kept on having conversations with each other as they drank their tea while Iris was serving them tea, their carriage came to an abrupt stop as they had already reached their destination.
The royal carriage stopped outside the entrance of the Gaia Kingdom since they were stopped by the guards. From what Allen had observed from Alisceon’s expression, he knew that it was unusual for the guards to stop their carriage.
After all, the royal carriage had the symbol of the royal family, so if the guards didn’t want to lose their jobs, they shouldn’t have stopped their carriage. But they did, which made their actions unusual.
Allen had used his <Supreme Psychic> talent to extend his senses outside the carriage, and from what he had noticed from the expressions of the guards, he found out that the guards were surprised at the arrival of the first princess’ carriage.
Which only means one thing…
The guards had already expected that the first princess wouldn’t survive, and that’s why they stopped the royal carriage, as they had a suspicion that it was overtaken by an enemy kingdom. And that meant those guards were working for the siblings of the first princess since they had already anticipated the death of the first princess.
It seemed that Alisceon had also reached the same conclusion as he had, which brought a smile to his face, although he hid it quickly, so it was left unnoticed by her. Allen was glad that his first disciple wasn’t dumb, or else he would be exasperated when he tried to teach her magic after they settled in the kingdom.
“Halt! We are having an inspection! Get out of the carriage and prove your identity!”
The loud voice of the guard stopping them in their tracks irritated not only Allen but also Alisceon.
And for them to say that it also meant that the guards had ignored the presence of Deus and John since the guards had deemed them to be the guards of the carriage. So, the guards asked the leader of the group, who they assumed was inside the carriage, to come out and prove their identity.
Allen and Alisceon stepped out of the carriage, with Iris at Allen’s side. Seeing the first princess alive, the guards were astonished, but after seeing the mage and maid with the first princess, they raised their weapons toward them.
“My, my! Such hostility! Do you dare do that in front of the First Princess?”
Allen mocked the guards’ actions with a voice filled with contempt. If it weren’t for the first princess being the weakest in terms of influence in the royal family, those guards wouldn’t have dared to act like that.
And besides, the guards had the backing of Alisceon’s royal siblings, which was the main reason why they dared to act like that. Allen would have killed those guards for their insolence, but doing so would reduce his chances of getting registered at the Mage’s Association and that was why he held himself back.
When the guards heard of Allen’s ridicule, they were blinded by rage as they charged toward him, only to be stopped by Allen using his paralysis magic.
After paralyzing the guards, Allen, Alisceon, Iris, John, and Deus entered the Gaia Kingdom without minding the struggles of the guards as they tried to move their bodies.
As for why they dared to enter the kingdom without the guards’ consent, they had the first princess by their side! Why should they not enter the kingdom?
