Chapter 234: Decide The Main Task Participants Through Random Draw
[Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse: So that only leaves Deus, Axel, and I.]
[Self-Proclaimed Genius Goblin Hero: How are we going to settle this then?]
Axel asked but he soon regretted asking that.
[Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse: By random draw.]
When John proposed that solution, Axel started to get nervous since he knew that luck wasn’t his forte. If it was, he wouldn’t have died from slipping on a banana peel.
[Self-Proclaimed Genius Goblin Hero: I don’t agree with that. How about we try another method?]
[Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse: I don’t agree with your disagreement. We will do it by random draw. Of course, whether it will be a random draw or not will depend if all of us who are below Semi-Supreme Being agrees that it will be a random draw or by another method.]
As much as John wanted to mess with Axel, he didn’t do it since deciding the participating members of the Main Task was a serious matter. And he didn’t want to boss around when he didn’t have the strength to back it up.
Even if his authorities were enough to make him reach the strength of a Perfection Realm Peak Stage for a few hours, it was only temporary strength so he didn’t dare to be arrogant due to that.
After all, in terms of power levels, John knew that he had the lowest power level among all members of the chat group. Even Deus was above him in power level since his power level was only at Lowest Realm Intermediate Stage while Deus was at Mid Realm Peak Stage.
[Self-Proclaimed Genius Goblin Hero: Fine, I agree with that. I choose another method as long as it doesn’t involve luck.]
Seeing that John reconciled and allowed a majority vote, Axel didn’t disagree.
[Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse: I choose the random draw method. What about the rest of you? @Idle Zenchillionare Tycoon, @Sword Forge From Chaos, @Supreme Order (Admin), and @Twin Tail Goddess]
John inquired about the opinion of the rest of the chat group members that weren’t a Semi-Supreme Being.
[Sword Forge From Chaos: I won’t be participating in the Main Task so don’t include me in that. Also, don’t ping me anymore, I will go back to seclusion. I haven’t finished merging all of my fragment counterparts. Bye.]
After sending that message, Chaos went offline.
[Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse: What about the rest of you?]
Since Chaos didn’t want to be part of the voting process, he didn’t force Chaos and instead, asked the rest of his chat group members.
[Supreme Order (Admin): I will be neutral regarding that.]
[Twin Tail Goddess: Same as master.]
Seeing that both Allen and Iris decided to take a neutral stance, Deus was the only one left to vote and his vote would decide whether they would use the random draw method or another method that didn’t revolve around luck.
[Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse: What about you, @Idle Zenchillionare Tycoon?]
[Idle Zenchillionare Tycoon: I prefer the random draw method. It is a lot more efficient.]
[Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse: Then it’s decided. We will use the random draw method to decide on the two members that will participate in the Main Task.]
[Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse: You don’t have any objection, right? @Self-Proclaimed Genius Goblin Hero]
To make sure, John asked Axel but they all knew that he did that out of pleasantry since Axel’s opinion regarding that wouldn’t change the outcome.
Knowing that Axel only gritted his teeth as he was left with no choice but to agree with John’s random draw method.
[Self-Proclaimed Genius Goblin Hero: No, I don’t.]
[Self-Proclaimed Genius Goblin Hero: But you forgot about one thing. How can we implement the random draw method if we can’t even do a random draw here?]
[Self-Proclaimed Genius Goblin Hero: If you are going to suggest that you will do the random draw in your world and live stream it, then don’t. It contradicts Deus’ statement of the random draw method is efficient. And besides, if you did that, we wouldn’t be able to know if you cheated the draw or not.]
Axel had already predicted that this outcome would happen so, of course, he already had found out a way to deal with that if ever John’s method was chosen instead of his. It was already within his expectations.
Because of that, Allen couldn’t help but smirk at how he got the upper hand. It was clear to them especially John that Allen had agreed to them on the surface but Allen didn’t entirely agree with them since he found fault with them.
[Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse: That…]
Even John was speechless. Although he suggested for them to use the random draw method, he forgot to take into account that the chat group didn’t have that feature.
And like what Allen had said, he couldn’t even live stream the random draw since it was possible for him to rig it and Axel wasn’t taking any chance in that happening.
John knew that messing with geniuses wasn’t as easy as it seemed since Axel had already foreseen this outcome from happening so it was a given that he had already found a way to make the outcome favorable for him.
[Supreme Order (Admin): You don’t have to worry about that problem. The chat group has the random draw command but it can only be used by the Moderator and Admin of the chat group. That is why you don’t know about its existence.]
Hearing Allen’s reply, Axel who had a smirk on his face instantly had an expression as if he had eaten shit. Axel didn’t expect this outcome!
If it came to random draw from the system, Axel knew that it wouldn’t be rigged but he wasn’t sure if he was lucky enough to participate in the Main Task.
[Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse: Can you use it?]
[Supreme Order (Admin): Wait…]
[Supreme Order (Admin): /randomdraw 2 @Time Manipulator Of The Apocalypse, @Self-Proclaimed Genius Goblin Hero, @Idle Zenchillionare Tycoon]
[Random draw initiating…]
[Random draw results are out!]
