MMORPG: Crowd Control - 257 Therapy
Lei Zhen could finally understand the passengers that were in his car when he decided to go crazy with the speed.
It was definitely not an awesome experience except for the crazy driver themselves. Though that happened during the game itself in which there are respawns for them.
Hence, Lei Zhen was fine with driving at high speed in Magnolia.
However, real life is a different story, and getting into a serious car accident would truly mean the end of your life.
“Doctor Samantha, I believe you need therapy as well. Your driving speed is extremely questionable.” Lei Zhen had no choice but to voice his opinion.
Otherwise, he feared that one day, she would have met a crazy car accident and go into a comatose state. He had already experienced what outcome would occur personally, and he did not wish for Samantha to meet the same fate as his deceased parents.
Just when Lei Zhen thought he would need to convince her some more, Samantha suddenly smiled and clapped her hands.
“It seems like the first therapy session was a success if you are that afraid.” She said calmly, acting as if the previous event was nothing but dust.

“Of course, driving fast and having a car accident correlate with others. Hence, this is the first session since you are probably still thinking of the incident 10 years ago.” Samantha said, not pulling back any punches once she goes into her professional mode.
“That’s ridiculous-“
“What is more ridiculous? My judgment or your current thoughts?” Samantha cut him off right away.
She was not going to let him hide or run away anymore now that she realized his problem was going to be more severe if it was prolonged any longer.
“I know this will hurt you a lot, but I would rather you feel extreme pain right now than go awry. I do not wish to lose a good friend who can communicate with me on the same wavelength.” She then said, walking to her condo.
Meanwhile, Lei Zhen was silent for a few moments as he stood in a daze. He knew after today, Samantha would truly rip off his guts until he could finally move on.
And what made it worse was that he probably knew about this outcome from the start. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have invited her and revealed some of his deepest secrets.
‘After 10 years… I should finally face reality and accept Doctor Samantha’s help.’ Lei Zhen thought to himself, following her inside the condo. The current him could barely hold on to life, and he was truly exhausted.
Everything he did was pointless and a waste of time because those who knew him would still act behind the scenes. It was time for him to stop acting stubborn and idiotic.
A few minutes later, Lei Zhen was seated on a very comfy couch that Samantha had custom ordered and designed, allowing the person to feel like they are on cloud nine when sitting on it.
“How many people have sat here?” Lei Zhen asked, laying on the couch without showing any politeness or embarrassment.
Samantha was in the kitchen area, brewing some tea for Lei Zhen while responding to his question. “Including you, I would say about four to six people. Can’t remember the actual number.”
“Oh, and how many of them are male?”
“You can stop trying to distract me, but I can say you are my very first male guest in my condo. Since most of the male clients I have are usually met in the hospital office. So does that information make you any happier?”
Lei Zhen nodded his head shamelessly.
“Sure does. I should enjoy this therapy session as much as possible now~” He then said with a smug expression.
Samantha shook her head and placed the tea on the table. At the same time, she sat on a chair that most therapists used and crossed her legs.
And to his surprise, she had already changed into some other casual clothes, revealing her pairs of flawless legs.
And as a man, it was hard for him to not have his eyesight on her legs, even if he wanted to stop staring. Her attraction was simply through the roof, causing the normally composed Lei Zhen to waver.
“I know my pairs of legs are attractive, but I hope you can keep your eyes up when I’m asking you some basic questions,” Samantha said calmly.
She wasn’t a bit affected by his staring but was more worried that her legs would be too distracting for him to pay attention to her words.
Therapy was different from other medical treatments which required the patients to focus on them completely.
Lei Zhen nodded his head.
“Sorry, those legs are sparkling at me. I’d be gay if I wasn’t staring at it.” He replied honestly.
They were close enough to have such a conversation, and Lei Zhen was grateful for this kind of relationship.
After all, if the person was changed to Tang Qiaolian or Griselda, then Lei Zhen would force himself to not look even if it meant twisting his own neck. Not to mention, he doesn’t feel that way toward them except for being a good companion.
“Drink a sip of my tea first before I ask you the question.” Samantha changed the topic and instructed him.
“Also, the question is going to start from the basics before venturing deeper into your inner thoughts. Hence, you can stop me if some of the questions are too personal or invasive.” She added.
“I know the procedure, Samantha. I have studied this course in the past and understand what you will ask.” Lei Zhen said, dropping the doctor honorific term now that they are alone.
“Even if you know the procedure, I hope that you can understand that it’s my job to inform you. Just like how your eyes can’t stop staring at my legs.” She said calmly, roasting him in the process.
