MMORPG: Crowd Control - 256 18 Times
After Jessica left them alone, Samantha knew what Lei Zhen wanted to ask so she quickly explained it.
“This isn’t a date, but if I didn’t mention it like that, then Jessica wouldn’t have let us go easily,” Samantha explained.

“Therapy session?” Lei Zhen was left aghast as he didn’t think there was anything wrong with him that required therapy.
“Just a simple one, Lei Zhen. You might not be a certified doctor, but you have knowledge of it, so you know what I meant.” Samantha said, making sure that he didn’t mistake her intention of trying to help him out.
If it was anyone that had said that to him, then Lei Zhen was sure that he would have ignored them thoroughly.
However, it was Samantha, someone that he respected during his days of struggling to comprehend some medical knowledge, so he couldn’t just ghost her.
“What do I get in return?” Lei Zhen asked, not feeling quite comfortable doing some therapy when gaming in Magnolia would ease his emotions anyway.
“Definitely not a kiss, but I can cook you some dinner and let you stay in my condo for a while. And trust me, not everyone can just come to my condo and enjoy my cooking.” Samantha said straightforwardly.
She had already given him a kiss today, so there was no way she would let him enjoy another kiss. If she had decided to give him another kiss, then the person needing therapy isn’t Lei Zhen, but her instead because she would be crazy to do that again.
Lei Zhen knew that once she decided on something, it was next to impossible to change her mind. Hence, he could only sigh and reluctantly agree to the therapy.
“I don’t think we can leave the event yet since you made me drink alcohol. I wouldn’t be suitable to be driving.” Lei Zhen said regretfully.
Drunk driving in this advanced era was something that nobody can attempt to do anymore. That was how advanced technology was to instantly detect if the driver was suitable enough to drive.
“I think you haven’t slept enough, Lei Zhen.” Samantha shook her head in disbelief.
“Did you forget that I’m a doctor and a reputed one as well? To become sober is as easy as taking a sip of water.” She added, retrieving a small bottle that was in her purse.
The small bottle was quickly consumed by her and it was clear why she drank it instead of Lei Zhen.
She wanted to drive the car this time around.
“You are definitely not driving the car, Doctor Samantha.” Lei Zhen said adamantly. It was hard for him to get this car.
How could he possibly allow anyone else to take the driver’s seat?
Alas, Samantha didn’t even bother saying anything and merely used her eyes to glare at Lei Zhen.
“NO WAY!” Lei Zhen shouted in response.
The next few minutes though, Lei Zhen was seated at the front of the car, except it wasn’t the driver’s seat. He held a sullen expression as he glanced at Samantha touching the steering wheel and adjusting the seat level.
“Wow, I’ve heard about this car, but never thought I’ll get to drive one today. Look at all those functions and defensive systems. Not even those billionaires that I have treated are capable of getting their hands on this car.” Samantha said cheerfully, acting as if she was a little girl that had received a new toy.
Meanwhile, Lei Zhen was crossing his arms with a grudgeful look on his face, clearly displeased with the gloating Samantha.
“You seemed very discontent with me driving, Lei Zhen.” Samantha suddenly said when she could sense his grudgeful look.
“If you have a problem with me, then speak up now.”
“I. have. no. problem.” Lei Zhen responded word for word.
“Then show me a smile and get that grudgeful look out of the window.” She then said, staring right at him.
Without a choice, Lei Zhen could only force a smile and watched Samantha start the car up as she began driving.
Once the driving began, Lei Zhen truly had no time to be grudgeful because she was even crazier than him in terms of driving past the speed limit.
“Wait, slow down a bit, Doctor Samantha.” Lei Zhen screamed in panic when she sped through the sky, acting as if the other flying cars in the air were invisible to her.
Unfortunately, his scream went on deaf ears because Samantha stepped harder on the accelerator, going even faster. Not even the racing tracks of those racing cars could compare their speed to her currently.
“Wooo~, now this is what I call a real car,” Samantha shouted excitedly as she turned the steering wheel to the right, causing a drifting motion in the cloud.
Poor Lei Zhen could only grab onto the seat belt tightly and cursed silently. ‘I think you are the one that needs therapy more than me.’
It was clear that Samantha had turned into another person once her hand touched the steering wheel and her feet on the accelerator pedal. The braking pedal doesn’t even seem to exist in her book as the speed meter indicator was still rising up.
She was breaking the Mach 10 speed, and Lei Zhen was completely horrified when he realized Samantha had no intention of landing near her condo. She was just driving wherever she wanted because he had realized that they had gone past her condo 3 times already.
Half an hour later, Samantha finally relaxed her expression as she landed right outside her condo. There was a great blissful smile on her face compared to the pale Lei Zhen.
“18 times… a total of 18 times of near collision with the other flying cars.” Lei Zhen muttered, feeling blessed that they didn’t have an accident. The speed broke past Mach 10, and having a collision at that speed would result in lots of serious consequences.
