MMORPG: Crowd Control - 231 Swept
After conversing with Griselda for a few more minutes regarding the end of the Ravenoid Clan, Lei Zhen bid farewell to let her handle Tyron.
He had zero interest in what would happen to Tyron. Whether he died the next day or became homeless or crippled, none of that mattered to him anymore.
The vengeance was complete and that was all Lei Zhen needed to know. And hopefully, with this incident alone, there would be fewer troublesome people searching for him.
Being camped and ambushed whenever he tried to do something in Magnolia would be annoying.
“Alright, have you all rested enough yet?” Lei Zhen asked right away the moment he returned to their side.
“Is the fight done already?” Jessica held a dazed look and asked. Everything seemed so surreal to her as she was fighting desperately previously, but now it had ended in such an anti-climatic event.
“Well, did you expect a large-scale fighting war?” Lei Zhen joked and flicked her forehead.
“From the start, they weren’t difficult opponents to deal with. It was just that their sheer number of people completely overwhelmed our capability, so it became quite a struggle.” He added.
Jessica nodded her head in agreement.
As the saying goes, no matter how powerful one being was, if they are being swarmed by multiple enemies at once, then even the powerful being would struggle against them.
“Anyway, I think this is where we part ways.” Lei Zhen then said. He had already gone overboard in the estimated time that he planned on staying here.
“But aren’t you going back to Cinderton?” Jessica suddenly asked.
“Um, yes, that’s the only closest city here.”
“Then what do you mean this is where we part ways? We are heading toward there as well.”
“Right…”
Due to the fast-paced event, he had already forgotten about this part and was merely focused on returning back to Cinderton.
“Alright, then let’s continue to advance forward as a team.” Jessica stood up, energetic after resting for quite a bit. In the meantime, she could see the enemies that had ambushed them earlier were all apprehended or killed.
There was not an ounce of sympathy in her eyes though when she saw that scene.
It would be a lie if she had said she wasn’t frustrated and angry at the enemy for playing foul against them.
Sometime later, Lei Zhen casually snatched the advance vehicle that was used to transport the members of Zero Fear to the scene for himself.
Of course, when some of the guild members saw this and attempted to stop him, they were quickly halted by Griselda. At the same time, Griselda grumbled slightly in displeasure when Lei Zhen loved to play the mysterious game.
She could only tell her fellow members that he was summoned by the guild leader to divert their attention.
Lei Zhen made sure to send his thanks to her privately as he waited for the other three women to board the vehicle. The driver was obviously going to be him and it was a wondrous feeling to be in control of a steering wheel.
Holding the steering wheel, Lei Zhen smiled slightly as he changed the handle of the PRNDL sign to the D sign which stands for drive, allowing him to step on the accelerator pedal to operate the vehicle forward.
While Lei Zhen began to make his way to return to Cinderton, Griselda’s face turned cold as she stared at Tyron, who seemingly had continuously pleaded for mercy.
“You know, Tyron. The person you should be afraid of messing with in this world isn’t me, but the man that you have tried to ambush. I won’t reveal too much. Just know that even I have to be extra cautious when interacting with him.” She warned Tyron, giving the rest of the guild members the signal to kill everyone else.
As for Tyron, his face was ghastly pale as he witnessed Griselda ending his life. Although it wasn’t a real death since it was just a game, he knew that this death meant the end of him in the real world as well.
‘Truly… why did I meet with these terrifying people in the lower city.’ Tyron wondered in his mind, feeling aggrieved.
Griselda’s eyes were cold as she subtly opened her friend list and clicked on a username, sending a message that Lei Zhen was safe and sound.
Afterward, she told the rest of the members to return to their previous duty before logging out, making sure that she would not let the Ravenoid Clan and the Poisonaire Guild rest until they are swept to demolition.
The punishment for messing with her was not something anyone could afford.
While Griselda took her time to prepare a large conference meeting to discuss her terrible experience in Magnolia, Lei Zhen was having a great time speeding up in the vehicle.
“Zhen, you can slow down the speed, you know?” Jessica had her hands on the handle as she was frightened by the MPH they were going.
Lei Zhen seemed to be possessed as he was going way above the normal speed limit.
“Huh? But I’m going at an average speed though.” Lei Zhen raised an eyebrow as he turned his attention toward Jessica, nearly scaring her to death.

Lei Zhen twitched his mouth when he heard that. Bella and Candice seemed to be perfectly fine with the speed he was going except for her.
Alas, being a gentleman, he could only reluctantly lower the speed he was going and keep it at a level that was acceptable to Jessica.
“Better now?” He asked calmly.
Jessica nodded her head.
“Much better.” She said in a relief.
“Anyway, I wish to tell you something since I’ve been hiding this for quite a while. Though it’s something that I thought people would recognize me right away honestly.”
