MMORPG: Crowd Control - 225 Maze? More Like Easy Pass
The picture that Lei Zhen pointed at revealed a large number of hidden passages, with some of them leading to a dead-end.
There was a start phase that indicated their current position and where the exit was located.

“Are we supposed to memorize this when it’s too small to even glance at?” Jessica asked in a dazed tone. She had tried to open a camera function to take a picture of the maze, but couldn’t.
It was most likely blocked by the system because it would have been considered cheating if they could just continuously glance at the picture to think about which was the correct passage.
Lei Zhen nodded his head as his eyes started to become dizzy when he got up to the middle part. There were just too many intertwined passages to keep up with.
“How much time do we have left till your quest timer, Jessica?” Lei Zhen turned to her and asked.
Jessica opened her mission tab and was dumbfounded to see the time had gone by so fast. Even though they had passed through most of the stages, she still couldn’t help but gasp at the remaining time.
“Less than 20 minutes…” She said weakly.
Although the dungeon might seem easy, the fact that it took them over an hour to reach this part was a self-explanation of the hard mode difficulty.
Hearing that time was ticking down, Lei Zhen had a bold idea that he didn’t know if it would be going against the rule.
“Are there any instructions here?” He then asked the group, seemingly wanting to check for something.
The women glanced at each other before shrugging their shoulders, clearly responding that there are zero instructions as to how to pass through this maze.
“I see…” Lei Zhen murmured softly.
He turned toward Jessica and asked, “Do you have any increasing attack potions? Since you could afford that many high-quality potions, then you should have some other potions, right?”
Jessica didn’t say anything and opened up her inventory instead to scan for the potions that she had stacked up. Given that she had never really paid much attention to the things she stocked up, she’ll need some time to analyze her inventory.
“Hmm, I do have some other temporary stats-increasing potions,” Jessica said in an astonished tone, almost as if she didn’t even know she had purchased them before.
Lei Zhen twitched his mouth slightly in disbelief.
Who would purchase something and forget about it right away?
However, he quickly swallowed the words back and refrained from commenting because he was also someone that fell into that category. The Mystery ??? Box was something he had failed to remember and had opened extremely late, so who was he to judge others?
“Anyway, what do you want these temporary stats-increasing potions for?” Jessica asked curiously.
In her mind, they had enough firepower already and did not need to waste any of these potions to increase their stats. Not to mention, the final stage was a maze, so the chance of there being a monster is highly unlikely to happen.
Lei Zhen chuckled softly as he obviously asked her that for a reason.
“Since the third stage allowed us to attack the enemies without waiting for them to even make an entrance, then from that logic alone, we can also do the same here.” He said wickedly.
Alas, his wisdom seemed to be unable to connect with the others as they held a confused and dazed look.
“…”
He was pretty sure the others definitely knew what he was thinking to do, but acted like that just to make it seem like he was being crazy.
“Is it really that fun to tease me?” He asked skeptically.
Jessica and Candice nodded their head simultaneously whereas Bella remained deadpan, but one could easily tell her answer was a yes.
“I’m pretty sure that people have tried to brute force the walls in the past to get out of the maze quickly. But they have all failed because they aren’t strong enough to penetrate the defense of the walls, Zhen.” Jessica explained that his idea seemed bright, but not bright enough.
Meanwhile, Lei Zhen crossed his arms and glanced at them with a disbelieving look.
“Did you really think I would think of something that most people would think of?” He asked.
However, that was a blunder since all three of them nodded their head and agreed in unison, almost causing Lei Zhen to puke in blood.
Taking a few seconds to regain his composure, Lei Zhen proceeded to explain his plan. “The walls are obviously built with such high defense capacity that even Candice’s prowess wouldn’t be capable of destroying it. But what about the ground beneath us?”
“The ground beneath?”
“Mhmm, you can tell the concrete surface isn’t as tough as the wall, so we can easily just go underground to maneuver this complex maze.”
Jessica pondered for a moment and stomped the ground for a few seconds.
“You’re right that the ground isn’t tough, but how are we supposed to know where to dig afterward?” She asked.
Lei Zhen smirked coldly when she finally asked that question.
He pointed his fingers at Candice and laughed, “And that’s where our carrier, Candice would come into play. She can easily communicate with the wind, so she’s a walking GPS.”
Everyone had their mouths wide open when they realized this plan could work. As for Candice, she quickly went into coy mode and praised Lei Zhen to the sky, saying how awesome and intelligent he was.
Of course, Lei Zhen was unfazed and wished to smack her forehead. She was also part of the group that doubted his ability.
“Anyway, I’m guessing no one has any complaints regarding my method to tackle this final stage, right?” He then asked the group for confirmation.
Jessica nodded her head and gave him a thumbs up. “No complaints here. This plan is literally shaming the maze for being an easy pass for us.”
