Legacy of the Dark Sage - 676 Grand Array (11)
Close to the edge of the huge crater was Kyran with a confounded expression.
The disappearance of Ravenpass was not Kyran’s handiwork but Obstruction’s.
Surprisingly, what the latter did was very similar to when Kyran transported the cottage in the forest to the Misty Forest.
But compared to the size of the cottage, Ravenpass was definitely bigger. This confirmed Kyran’s guess that Obstruction’s level remained that of a Sovereign.
If not, it would have been impossible for him to transport Ravenpass using his magic energy alone.
It should be noted that when Kyran transported the cottage, he had to rely on True Void to provide him with enough magic energy.
‘Nevermind that!’ Kyran scolded himself. ‘Where did he transport Ravenpass—?’
It did not take long for him to receive the answer to his question as he sensed the space distorted from a distance. It was then followed by another round of powerful magic fluctuations.
Kyran would not have been able to detect this clearly. However, the distortion appeared in the sky, which was then followed by the reemergence of Ravenpass. Because it had appeared in the sky, Ravenpass looked like a floating island, much like the Regis Terram albeit bigger.
Still, from where Kyran was at, the floating Ravenpass looked small.
But Kyran was not really paying attention at the Ravenpass’s size because he was looking at the below land it appeared to.
Ravenpass had actually emerged right above the Regis Estate’s Outer Wall.
Kyran gritted his teeth and was about to warp back to the estate when he felt faint auras approaching from behind. Using his magic sense, he knew at once that the auras belonged to the four members of the Regis Special Force stationed there.
“Young master!” One of them rushed to Kyran’s side.
Because all members of the Regis Special Forces possessed the Regis Blessing, they were able to withstand Obstruction’s oppressive aura and pressure earlier. They were still injured however but it was not life-threatening.
Kyran looked at them with a slight frown after seeing their condition. Although their injuries were not life-threatening, it would still take time for it to heal unless Cyneah healed them.
Kyran felt bad for not noticing their condition when he warped to their location earlier. Even if the reason he did not notice it was because he saw White Lily’s critical situation, he should have at least taken them into his Void world as well so they would not risk their lives if they decided to assist him when dealing with Obstruction.
“We already connected with the others and they just told us that those in Noser had already gone to the estate!”
Judging by their reaction, they also realized that the Ravenpass had appeared above the estate. If this was the case then their enemies would also target those from Noser.
“Tsk,” Kyran could not help but clicked his tongue in annoyance.
He was not annoyed at how fast their allies in Noser had moved, but to himself.
In the first place, White Lily was the Queen of the Faes and every Spirit would sense her presence whenever she appeared in the Human plane. Because White Lily had almost died in Obstruction’s attack, the Spirits definitely sensed it. Then before they could confirm their Queen’s fate, Kyran transported her into his Void World.

If White Lily’s presence suddenly disappeared in the Human plane, it would have been easy for the Spirits to misunderstand the situation especially when they had just felt her life in danger.
They would definitely go to where White Lily was and save her.
“Take this and recuperate for a bit before going back to the estate,” Kyran immediately took out several Saint-tier healing pills and gave one each to the four Regis Special Force members.
The four did not argue and took the pill at once. They knew that even if they went with Kyran, they would only hold him back.
They had witnessed how domineering their young master was when confronting the new enemy. Thus, they were not worried about him being at a disadvantage if he went alone.
“I’m going first,” Kyran told them.
The four members only nodded and watched him warped without further ado.
Kyran appeared directly below the floating Ravenpass. After that he expanded his magic sense to find Obstruction and Layla’s whereabouts.
FOOOM!
However, as soon as Kyran’s magic sense spread toward the center of Ravenpass, he ‘touched’ something that immediately reacted to his energy.
RIIIING!
Then a deafening ringing sounded within Kyran. The Shaiha vibrated uncontrollably inside him, which then affected all his magic cores.
In an instant, the Shaiha drew all the stored magic energies from his magic cores and toward it.
“Ngh…!” Kyran almost fell to his knees as he felt the Shaiha promiscuously sucked his stored magic energies. This would be the first time that more than two magic energies had entered his central core. It would probably not pose any problem if the magic energies that entered the Shaiha were contained. However, that was not the case and now Kyran felt his insides were being sucked dry.
‘What are you doing?’ Kyran tried to communicate with the Shaiha.
However, the Shaiha continued to vibrate and did not seem to have noticed Kyran’s question. If the Shaiha was truly alive, or if it could be considered a living being, it actually appeared to have lost its mind.
Obviously, whatever it was that Kyran’s magic sense ‘touched’ just now made it go crazy.
But Kyran did not need others to tell him what his magic sense had touched. There was only one ‘item’ in Ravenpass that could possibly react to his magic.
The Macabre Glacier.
Although the Macabre Glacier was a magic weapon that focuses on ‘Soul’ magic energy, it had been slumbering for a long time.
Gael, along with several nobles family leaders had been going to the basement in order to provide it with enough magic energy so they could activate it and then use it.
Nevertheless, even after all those times, Gael and the noble leaders failed to activate it. It was actually not surprising. The Macabre Glacier was a Sovereign-tier magic weapon. It would have been impossible for mages below a Sage to activate it. Even Haylee took a while just to awaken it. And even then, it had yet to fully activate.
Because of this, the moment Kyran’s magic sense, which was created using magic energies, touched the Macabre Glacier, it reacted and wanted to absorb all of his energy. After all, Kyran’s magic energy was far greater than the normal mage because he possessed four magic cores.
What was more, Cyneah had just healed Kyran and she had not been stingy when she did it. Apart from healing his injuries, she also helped him replenish his magic energy.
The allure of Kyran’s immense supply of internal magic energy attracted the Macabre Glacier.
Still, Kyran was shocked that it could actually affect the Shaiha. Not only that, it prevented him from controlling his magic sense properly.
“It is so easy to bait you, did you know?”
Before Kyran could find a way to retract his magic sense, Obstruction had already approached him from behind.
Without waiting for Kyran to process his arrival, Obstruction struck.
The three rings behind him rotated at an alarming speed. The magic energy it created distorted the surrounding space with Kyran at the center.
Unable to move, Kyran could only watch as a semi-transparent distortion formed above him.
Although the distortion was semi-transparent, Kyran could still see that it actually looked like a huge clawed hand. Its fingers wrapped around his body and crackling sounds reverberated in the air as it collided with his armor.
Obstruction’s expression turned grim while looking at Kyran’s armor. He already guessed that it was made of Void magic, making it almost impossible to destroy. Not to mention, any forms of magic attack could be countered— if not turned to ‘nothing’— in a blink of an eye.
Kyran gritted his teeth as he tried to communicate with the Shaiha once more. All the while, ensuring his Draconic enhanced Void armor would not disappear because of how unstable his magic energies were running because of the Macabre Glacier’s influence over the Shaiha.
“ACK! Seriously! You! I leave you for a moment and suddenly you get yourself in such a situation? Unbelievable! Truly unbelievable!”
Kyran’s ears perked up after hearing a familiar voice.
True Void!
Kyran’s eyes widened in recognition as he raised his head to look at the direction where it came from.
In the end, before he could look at True Void, the latter already used his powerful attack.
In an instant, all the magic energies in the surroundings seemed to be drawn to a certain point.
The distortion that trapped Kyran also seemed to be affected because of it.
