I’m Not Interested In The Main Characters - Chapter 111
Chapter 111
After coming to this world, she came up to the capital from the family’s estate for the first time in two years. Now, when someone called ‘Elysia,’ she could look back right away. It was similar to her name, so she thought she would get used to it quickly, but it took a long time.
It was about a year ago when she started getting used to this life.
Although she was having a boring and terrifyingly silent tea time with the male lead, Revos, she maintained a good relationship without any problems. The family was still trying to make him the Crown Prince, so it was a given.
Elysia exited the main building and climbed into the carriage.
“Miss. If you get caught, it will really be a problem. An escort… ”
“It’s okay. Otherwise, I will go alone?”
Elysia flashed her eyes at the coachman who was helping her to sneak out.
Even after she came to the Capital, her family couldn’t let her leave the house, so she was frustrated. She wondered if she had any kind of kin, but no matter how much she searched for data about other races, she couldn’t find any records of a race similar to that of a vampire.
Because of that, she was almost on the verge of giving up and she was exhausted from living in the mansion.
“After all, it’s a noble family, so there’s no way anything will happen. It’s okay, so let’s go quickly.”
The coachman really reluctantly closed the carriage door and started the carriage slowly. Elysia glanced at the invitation that she had brought with her, and raised the corners of her lips.
Today, she was going to a masquerade party hosted by Marquisate Eidro.
She wanted to have a drink while lamenting about her situation, but it was difficult to just go to a bar. She couldn’t even take a sip of alcohol because they had put all the alcohol out of the family’s mansion.
Then, why not go directly to the place where there is alcohol? People watching and getting some fresh air.
In fact, the purpose of going to the masquerade was to meet other people, but in her case, she would attend while covering her face. She was the Prince’s lover, so it was natural for her to get attention wherever she went, and on the excuse that her body was ill, she had not yet been involved in social activities at all.
Since she was in the capital, she would have to be attending tea time soon. There was also her interest in the masquerade.
“Miss. We’ve arrived.”
“Yes.”
Elysia took out a mirror and checked her appearance once. She succeeded in luring the maid Gray, so she looked pretty presentable.
Changing her hair color to blonde with a magic tool, she was wearing a black velvet dress that clung to her body. In addition, she also wore a mask of the same color as the dress. Her red eyes might be recognizable though the mask had a veil over it, so they wouldn’t know if they didn’t come close.
She held out the invitation to the employee at the entrance and moved slowly.
Music with a slightly faster tempo in red lighting. Elysia picked up one of the wine glasses, which was arranged in a row, and looked inside. It was sensational to see people dancing so closely to each other.
‘…Oh, my God, this is completely a club.’
At the thought, she shook her head and turned a little further inward.
Elysia thought that the nobles who pretended to be noble were doing everything they wanted to quite promiscuously.
Even though she was wearing a mask, she could feel the gaze clinging to her, and her brow furrowed. She was planning to go back after drinking alcohol while watching people on her own, but she thought it was a pain to see men looking for opportunities.
Then, she ordered a passing employee to lead her to the break room.
Perhaps because she came late, the employee kept saying that there was no empty space. It was only until she went up to the third floor that there was an empty space in the far end room.
“Bring me something to drink.”
She spoke with strong strength.
“I understand.”
At that, Elysia smiled pleasantly. Sitting on a chair in front of a table on the patio, and as she looked out, there was a glimpse of the hall.
With this, she was very satisfied.
She waited a long time to empty the glass that the employee had brought. The strength was nice, and she was just perfectly intoxicated.
At that moment, she heard someone coming into her room. Elysia frowned and turned her head towards the door. She could see a man with black hair and a tailcoat. Narrowing her eyes, she tried to take a closer look at his face, but she couldn’t see.
Then, she could see the man’s face turned towards her.
“I am already using it.”
Her voice was filled with criticism as to why he didn’t leave immediately even though someone came first.
“I’ve met you again.”
Elysia smiled wryly.
What kind of old-fashioned pick up line is this?
“I want to be alone, can you please leave?”
“Did you leave it like that, saying you want to be alone?”
The man pointed to the door with his chin. There was no ribbon hanging to indicate that the break room was being used.
She thought the employee would have marked it for sure. Elysia knew well what the common room was used for at her masquerade. Perhaps, that was why the man asked sarcastically if it was true that she really wanted to be alone.
At that, she raised her body and moved closer to the man.
“It seems that the employee didn’t mark it.”
During the masquerade, it was possible to reveal who each other was when there was no one, with mutual consent.
However, if there was one thing Elysia had overlooked here, the glass she drank today was her first drink in this world. In addition, of course, she did not realize that the amount of alcohol tolerable in this body was different from the original body before the possession.
“…Ahk.“
Naturally, it was impossible to walk straight when she had emptied the glass. A strong arm wrapped around her waist and supported her as she was scared of the thought of falling.
“You’re even drunk? You’re still fearless.”
“I don’t know who you are.”
Why was he acting like he knew who she was?
Elysia felt that the body against her was quite firm, and she glanced at his face. She thought she felt a sweet smell from a while ago, but maybe it was from this guy…?
As she thought that this man liked sweet perfume, she heard a chuckle.
“Are you going to stay like this?”
Elysia tried to get up from the man’s arms yet stumbled again. Finally, the man holding her sighed and headed to the bed.
“Excuse me. Why go to bed…”
“Then, do you want me to put you down on the floor?”
“No, well, it’s not like that.”
Elysia was somehow embarrassed and fiddled with her hair. The man who had put her on the bed turned around without any hesitation. Perhaps, he was really going to leave.
Grab.
“What.”
She didn’t even know why she reached out and grabbed his collar.
Elysia felt a little dizzy. She couldn’t open her mouth easily, feeling all the drunkenness all at once. In fact, she felt more drunk on his intoxicating scent than getting drunk on the drink.
“You…”
Elysia pulled a little tighter as she grabbed the hem of his sleeve.
Even though she must have pulled him a little, she blinked blankly as she saw the man who sat on the bed. She wanted to take a proper look but the veil on her mask obscured her vision, so she took off the mask, annoyed.
And, she immediately reached out her hand and took the man’s mask.
“Wow…”
Her lips parted openly at his impressive appearance. He was really to her liking.
The man spoke.
“Didn’t I say we’ve met?”
Elysia drooped her lips and laughed.
As she watched his expressionless face, the man raised his eyebrows. He raised his hand and swept his face once, followed by a sigh.
“I’ll take you to the carriage.”
“Huh…? Why? Didn’t you say you wanted to be with me a little while ago?”
His expression said no, but Elysia interpreted it in her own way.
“You have a good voice.”
She smiled, moving her body to find the source of the scent that had filled her since earlier. The next moment, she grabbed his collar and opened it, burying her face in the nape of his neck before taking a deep breath.
Elysia felt the man’s body stiffen, then he grabbed her by the shoulder and widened their distance.
“A little bit more…”
“You still can’t figure out who I was.”
When she looked at her with a puzzled face, she could see her lips tingled as he spoke his words dissatisfied.
Didn’t the red lips look like it was teasing her to kiss them?
Elysia, guided by her instincts, reached out her hand, covered his cheeks and bowed her head.
As if he was going to say something to her, his lips opened. At the same time, she straightened her tongue and shoved her tongue between his lips. Her body seemed to heat up as the scent of his body, which had spread from the nape of her neck, moved into her mouth.
She grabbed his tongue as it ran away, avoiding her and pushing deeper. Because of that, the body that was in contact with her became tense.
Wondering if the large hand would support her head, but in an instant, the tide turned.
As she tilted her head, a deep kiss followed, and a muffled sound echoed in her ear. Elysia felt hazy, and she hugged him by the neck.
“Uhng…”
A groan escaped between their lips, which had moved away for a moment to catch their breath.
Elysia felt terribly thirsty.
She knew well what caused this thirst.
Maybe, it was because she was drunk, she had long forgotten that she was no longer a vampire. Frowning her brow at the burning sensation in her throat, Elysia pushed him down and lowered her lips. She finely kissed his sharp jawline and sucked hard at the nape of his neck.
“Stop.”
The man pushed her shoulder again and laid her on the bed immobile.
Elysia wrinkled her eyes and looked up at him. She was full of annoyance that her fangs didn’t come out and resentment rose at the hand that was holding her back. In the end, the man bit his lip with a grim look.
However, feeling that she was starting to lose consciousness, Elysia hurriedly opened her mouth.
“You are mine first… must. Another vampi… cannot. The first is me—”
…His first vampire was unconditionally her, and that he should never give his neck to other vampires.
Nonetheless, he couldn’t have heard that much. Cassian gazed at his lips wet with saliva, then looked at the woman who fell asleep.
Did this woman know what she was talking about…?
He rubbed the back of his neck, which must have left a mark, with his finger. He came to Marquisate Eidro because he had information he wanted to find out. Having no intention of enjoying the ball, he looked for the break room and came in because there was an empty space.
However, he recognized at a glance that the woman in front of him was the woman in Lowell’s estate two years ago.
“You don’t remember again.”
The bracelet on her wrist was untied, revealing her true color. The silver hair scattered on the sheet under the red light was irritating.
Cassian’s lips twisted up as he put the mask on her again.
He was a little embarrassed by the lust he felt for the first time.
He didn’t have any special feelings for women so far, so he wondered if he really liked men. Since the beginning, he thought that he would have to meet someone because he had to get married for the sake of succession though he was putting it off day by day.
Until now, he wondered if there might be a problem with his body, but today it didn’t seem to be the case.
He looked away from her and waited for the heat to cool down.
