I Have Seven Dragon Souls In a cultivation world - 255 Chapter 255
His horrified shriek shook the sky and was almost like a trigger as a terrifying burst of moonlight energy erupted around Dante forming a pillar of silver light nearly 100 metres wide.
Within this pillar of light, Dante’s body started to rise floating several metres above the floor as The silver light seemed to Pierce the sky piercing through the sky of the elemental nexus realm and even piercing the heavens themselves going into a space beyond this world!
Dante’s pain seemed to vanish within an instant and his body was soon overwhelmed with the absolutely intoxicating sensation of empowerment.
Dante felt an overwhelming setting that flowed within his body. But this strength didn’t come from his cultivation. No this strength seemed to be something even more innate, it was like this strength was something he should have been born with, something originating from his very blood.
The power almost made him feel like he could do anything!
‘This strength!’ Though Dante to himself
‘This is at least in the martial adept realm. No, it may go beyond even that!’
Just as Dante was starting to familiarise himself with the feeling of strength, he felt something horrific lock onto him.
It was a feeling of power that made him feel absolutely helpless.
As soon as Dante got this feeling something burst out within his body.
Dante roared in pain as a set of black chains erupted all out of his body wrapping around his body
The power Dante felt began to fade just as quickly as it arrived.
‘What is this!!’ Thought Dante as he watched himself grow weaker by the second
Dante had never encountered such a strange power in his life.
It was an unprovoked and anonymous strike against him,, in which Dante couldn’t even locate the origin of the attack.
As Dante quickly analysed the characteristics of the attack he quickly made a conclusion.
A curse.
An esoteric and strange method of attacks that had quickly faded away with ancient times of the martial spirit world.
It’s said that such a method of attacks were extremely rare to find in the central continent, much less a backwater place like the Vaenam kingdom.
But as more and more chains wrapped around Dante’s body he became more and more familiar with the curse and he could eventually even identify the source.
This curse seemed to be coming from his blood!
‘What is this?’ Thought Dante
‘Bloodline curse!’
Like its description, a bloodline curse is a curse so powerful that it would be ingrained and become part of the bloodline.
Like the power that would be passed down with it the curse would also be passed down as well!
The curse that afflicted Dante was too overbearing, causing his floating body to crash down deep into the floor.
The strength that Dante felt had all faded returning back to the state it had been in before he started practicing the Celestial Galaxy Refining art.
Just as Dante was walking in despair that the power he had felt disappeared before he even got to use it he felt something that made his heart sink.
Despite already eliminating the newly gained power, the curse didn’t let up in the slightest and still continued to eat away at Dante’s blood.
With this Dante came to horrifying realisation, the curse would not let up and continue eating away at his bloodline and if this wasn’t stopped it would end up killing him for good!
Feeling a complete sense of Alarm Dante began to panic.
His cultivation exploded as he activated the spirit energy within his body, desperately trying to resist the curse.
But to Dante’s dismay, he found that although the use of spirit energy had some effects in staving off the curse affecting his bloodline, in truth, it was only truly delaying the inevitable.
Despair sank into Dante’s heart for a second.
Why?!
Why should he die? All because of an existence he never met or even offended he would have to suffer and die?
The despair grew and grew and eventually morphed into something else.
Anger!
He was furious and not just him, his dragon souls were furious too.
Was he so insignificant that he could be killed just like this?
In the eyes of the existence that created the curse he was just an insignificant bug that would inevitably die. Hell he wouldn’t even know who killed him and even worse, the creator of the curse probably wouldn’t even know that he killed him in the first place!
Dante couldn’t accept it and his prideful dragon souls wouldn’t accept it either!
“ROAR!”
Three furious roars erupted from behind Dante as all of hsi Dragon souls manifested brilliantly.
ραпdα Йᴏνêl(сòm)
As soon as the Dragon souls manifested, the chains wrapping around Dante seemed to go berserk as they chased after each one, desperately trying to subdue them. But each of Dante’s Dragon souls were at the mature adult stage, a stage of strength that allowed them to raise their heads proudly in most places in the multiverse, how could they let themselves be subdued by mere chains?!
As soon as the chains flew in their direction, each dragon soul let off a berserk roar as they charged forward tearing the chains apart.
Hundreds of chains rushed towards the dragon souls and each time they arrived they were quickly shattered!
Slowly the tables had started to turn.
Instead of the chains chasing Dantes dragon souls, his dragon souls had actually started to slowly but surely corner the chains.
Breaking them down one by one, the seemingly endless amount of chains quickly reduced.
After just a few more minutes the titanic phantoms of Dante’s dragon souls had completely surrounded his main body, destroying all of the cursed chains bar one, that continued to fly and whip around furiously.
Despite being only one chain the aura being emitted from the chain was still ominous enough to force his dragon souls to show some hesitation.
