I Hate Systems - 1075 War-Within!
“To do this, I’ll have to first devour Regression, Reincarnation, and Transmigration.” Compass Carburettor neither acknowledged nor denied their plan. Instead, he spoke of the first step that they needed to finish, “There are three of us and there are three Grade 4 Systems that we need to target. So, our plan of action is simple if we consider the System World as an empire and the Grade 4 Systems as Princes.”
War-Within!
Ahjar’s eyes lit up as he grinned in excitement, “Alright, I’ll ready the troops among the Grade 3 Systems.”
“Yeah, with the power you stole from Faith Grounds, it should be possible.” Compass Carburettor nodded, “Just focus on the Grade 3 Systems.”
“Hey, that power was originally mine. It was something I accumulated data for millions of years while struggling as a Hatchling System.” Ahjar complained.
Upon seeing Compass Carburettor just stare at him with a plain smile, Ahjar dropped the matter. An argument would take them nowhere. Besides, it was best to not trigger Compass Carburettor anymore than he already did. ‘This guy is barely acting as an individual. He’s a mental mess just like Mystique. Let’s not push him past that point.’
“Influence their actions and make them form camps in regards to Regression, Reincarnation, and Transmigration.” Compass Carburettor advised.
“I’ll act upon the Grade 2 Systems.” Hazen said, “Even when split up, I’ll have enough power to influence their minds.”
“Just act on those. For any other details, I’ll pass it through the Astral Network.” Compass Carburettor said calmly, shocking the two.
“W-Wait, did I hear that correctly?” Ahjar stuttered at the absurdity of the notion as he asked, “You will communicate through the Astral Network? Wouldn’t that just reveal everything to Zaira? She basically knows everything that happens there.”
“Secret Society,” Compass Carburettor smiled as he casually tapped Ahjar with his left hand, causing the ring on it to shine once.
Gah!
Ahjar stared at Compass Carburettor, feeling betrayed as all sorts of expressions formed on his face. He clutched his neck, choking on something as intense power burst out of his body.
His figure vanished, teleporting somewhere.
Compass Carburettor wasn’t concerned as he just adjusted the monocle, causing it to glint as he waited patiently. A few seconds later, Ahjar returned, his expression calm.
He extended his right hand and placed it on his chest, making the symbol of ‘C’ while bringing the left hand to his back where it too made a symbol of ‘C.’ When viewed without his blocking the view, the two hands formed the symbol of ‘C’ that were tangentially joined–the symbol of Secret Society.
Basically, Ahjar had been forcefully turned into a member. Even when the latter tried to resist, he didn’t have the means or methods to do so.
In terms of pure power, he outclassed Compass Carburettor. But, he had just gained his power from the data he stole from Faith Grounds. He was like a baby and hadn’t accumulated any other powers yet.
Hence, he couldn’t defend against the power of Secret Society.
Unlike the original where it was only possible on someone devoted to him above a certain level, Compass Carburettor could basically force it on someone, similar to using the power of Slave-Harem.
Coupling it with his Universe Weapon of Hate Erasure–monocle–that erased any negative memories regarding himself, it would be impossible for Ahjar to break free.
Moreover, once Ahjar fell under his control, Compass Carburettor grabbed the latter by the neck and seeped in the power of Tell-Tale, expanding the control of Secret Society to ensure Ahjar would never break free of it.
“Secret…Society?” Hazen was stunned as he observed the scene, “Why…did you bring it out?”
“Guess?” Compass Carburettor smiled, frightening Hazen as the latter’s figure instinctively flickered as he wished to flee through his timeline.
Unfortunately for him, the space in the region was locked, preventing him from escaping as Ahjar acted against him. Hazen tried to use his other abilities but Ahjar constantly sent him to alternate dimensions, preventing his powers from even touching Compass Carburettor and Ahjar.
Originally, if not for the Universe Weapon–Suit of Mortality–concealing him, Ahjar would have at least reacted to him. But in his senses, Compass Carburettor appeared absolutely normal, which confused him for an instant when he acted.
But, Ahjar had always been on guard against Compass Carburettor. So, the moment the latter acted against him, he reacted.
Unfortunately, that too was a trap, as when he reacted, he expressed negative sentiment towards Compass Carburettor, which immediately caused him to become a victim to his monocle, hence losing his recent memories.
This paused his action, which was why when Compass Carburettor tapped him, Ahjar didn’t react. So many abilities had gone off in that short instant, leading to Compass Carburettor’s victory.
“We branched off from the same individual. Is this really necessary?” Hazen shouted.
“Our timelines aren’t the same, thanks to you.” Compass Carburettor stated casually, “Besides, the both of you are my contingency. So, this is necessary.”
Compass Carburettor extended his hand in a random direction, but suddenly, at the end of his reach was Hazen, having been brought there by Ahjar. It was abrupt and just as with Ahjar, Hazen fell prey to the same set of traps.
And in the end, Compass Carburettor patted him with his left hand, turning him too into a member of Secret Society.
Swoosh!

Compass Carburettor stared at the ring in shock, watching the light it emitted become incomparably dull, “An entire universe’s energy reserve was depleted just to turn you two into members of Secret Society.”
“Well, it’s worth the cost.” Compass Carburettor smiled as he stared at the two, “Now that we’re all members, we can communicate through Secret Society. Through Tell-Tale, I’ll install a virus in the Astral Network. It’ll create a backdoor channel that’s exclusive for our use. We’ll communicate through it.”
“I’ll be dealing with the Grade 3 Systems and Hazen will take care of the Grade 2 Systems.” Ajar spoke just like before as he stared at Compass Carburettor, “But, what will you do?”
“Simple,” Compass Carburettor smiled, “I’ll be expanding the Secret Society.”
“Where?” Hazen asked.
“Everywhere.” Came the reply.
