After returning to Jiuzhou, all the Immortal Artifacts wanted to find the Yin Yang Heaven Seal, aiming to challenge the elder brother of the Immortal Artifacts in a solo fight, showing off the substantial advantages gained from their recent promotion.
Since their elder brother had come up with a brilliant method of becoming stronger by getting beaten, they as his junior siblings had to do the same, to show their gratitude.
The Yin Yang Heaven Seal had anticipated this situation. By the time the Immortal Artifacts arrived at Dao Sect, it had disappeared without a trace.
The other Immortal Artifacts sighed in regret, returning to their original positions and absorbing the gains from this voyage.
Previously, some Worlds were connected to Jiuzhou through summoning formations, but now, with the Ascension of the Brahma Tower, a spatial tunnel can be established between Jiuzhou and all known Worlds, including the Ten Thousand Words World.
The Great Confucian Word Post returned to Confucianism.
The Sea Dragon King, upon seeing the promotion of the Four Sea Dragon Balls, hastily took them to Penglai Fairy Island to find a venue for showcasing them.
However, they were faced with an attack from the Lord of Mo Island wielding the Mount Heshan stone; the Sea Dragon King ended up badly beaten.
The Ruyi Gourd Creek had no one to rely on, so it could only sneak away to stay overnight at the Union Sect. It was a rather pitiful sight.
Jiang Li gathered all the Human Emperor candidates into the consciousness space, telling them of their new mission to help the Ten Thousand Words World develop rapidly.
Soon after, all the candidates of the Human Emperor, fully equipped and ready, entered the spatial tunnel and arrived in the Ten Thousand Words World, which had only recently begun to use bronze artifacts.
Jiang Li then returned to the Imperial Palace and told the commander, Mr. Liu, that the three of them were going to explore the Void.
“The Void is vast and I might not be able to return for a while. I can’t preside over the Imperial Palace during this period. I’m going to have to ask you, Mr. Liu, to take care of it,” he said.

Seeing the seriousness in Jiang Li’s tone, Commander Liu almost thought that Jiang Li was often present at the Imperial Palace, and that he was only going to be serving as a substitute for a short while.
“Alright, I’ll wait for your return, and then return the responsibility of presiding over the Imperial Palace back to you.”
“This is a critical matter, we will discuss it further upon my return.”
After sorting out affairs, the trio of Jiang Li could set off with ease.
“There’s a problem though, the coordinates you have are quite far from the Jiuzhou World. The gusts of wind in the Void are not something we two at the Transcendence Tribulation Stage can withstand. We could stay for a short while, but not for long,” said Bai Hongtu with concern.
“I have a way to deal with this,” replied Jiang Li, who had already come up with a solution.
…
In the depths of the cold and dark Void, an ancient corpse of the Human Emperor pulls along two bronze coffins, ensuring their eternal survival.
The sight of such old corpses pulling coffins is horrifying and ominous.
“Jiang Li, you bastard, if you’ve got guts, let’s have a fair fight.”
From one of the coffins, came a roar reminiscent of an ancient demon god that had been suppressed for billions of years. It was so terrifying, it felt like a symbolic representation of the bumps in their journey, enough to make one’s heart shudder.
“Be quiet. I put a lot of thought into this great idea of mine. What could you possibly be dissatisfied with?” Jiang Li’s soul body sat on top of the coffin, knocking on the lid, suppressing the demon god within with just one hand.
Jiang Li used the Corpse Driving Technique, controlling his soul body outside its vessel.
“Using your own image as a defensive shell for us two, that is indeed a great idea,” came a muffled voice sounding like a female devil, echoing within the Void and sending chills down the spine.
If a young cultivator were to stumble upon this world, with a fallen ancient battlefield, they would find among the time-worn ancient texts, barely discernible from the decaying pages, the honours bestowed upon these two devils.
The revered titles bestowed upon these two devils are ancient taboos. Mentioning them would trigger a horrifying force that transcends time.
Lowering his voice, Jiang Li said, “One devil goes by the name Bai Hongtu, the other devil is named Yu Yin.”
“I have no other objections, but can you stop adding that rubbish commentary out of nowhere?” asked the female devil from her coffin, protesting.
Out of reverence for these ancient venerables, the young cultivator quickly silenced himself, afraid to utter any more words.
“The journey is quite long and boring. So, I thought having some chatter would entertain you. I didn’t expect you two to complain,” Jiang Li replied in a disappointed tone.
“What about we play a game? We make up a story, and each person adds a sentence to it,” suggested Jiang Li, coming up with another way to kill time.
Jiang Li continued, “I’ll start. Once upon a time, there was a young cultivator who had just stepped into the Jianghu with the aim of becoming a great hero who would punish the evil and promote the good.”
Bai Hongtu added, “After arriving in the Zhou Dynasty, he was quickly thrown into prison for the crime of intentional harm.”
Yu Yin chimed in, “The young cultivator thought that since ancient times, every hero had been imprisoned at least once. In his mind, going through such an unjust ordeal was an essential part of a hero’s journey.”
“In prison, he was surrounded by evil people, making the cultivator think that it was the perfect place to promote good and punish evil.”
“But because he got into fights in the prison, his sentence was extended by double.”
“The person who shared the same cell with the young cultivator noticed his different nature and took a secret book from his chest, wanting to pass it on to the cultivator.”
“On opening the secret book, the Great Zhou Dynasty Criminal Law’s shining words nearly blinded the young cultivator.”
“The cultivator then received the secret book, started practicing diligently, and finally got his sentence reduced.”
“Good news, we’ve arrived,” said Jiang Li as his soul returned to his body, and he restrained the two coffins.
“This is the place where the Immortal Realm passed a thousand years ago.”
This area of the Void seemed to hold no special significance, just like any other, vast, silent, and dark.
Bai Hongtu jumped out of his coffin, taking a deep breath of the fresh Void.
“As expected, the Immortal Realm is no longer here.”
You couldn’t see even its shadow here.
“There is a world out there that seems a bit strange.”
Yu Yin pointed to a strangely shaped world nearby.
Normally, world forms resemble an egg, but this world looked like a broken egg with one small piece missing.
What was even stranger to the trio was that this world had countless small metal boxes installed on its dimensional wall, each placed at a regular distance. If there were boxes all over the dimensional wall, then the number of these boxes would be staggering.
The trio stepped forward for closer observation, and after analysing the principle, they arrived at a conclusion.
“It’s a nuclear-powered camera that can be operated for a long time, but why would they install cameras here?” pondered Bai Hongtu.
“Cameras are installed here because they might be able to penetrate the dimensional wall and see what lies in the Void,” Jiang Li suggested after a moment of silence.
Bai Hongtu was stunned, having never considered this possibility.
Given the Void’s tumultuous winds, apart from Immortal-level powers, nothing else could stay and observe in the Void for long.
Observing the Void would thus require the installation of cameras on the world border.
If Jiang Li’s guess was correct, then this world’s technological level was more advanced than that of the Ming Zhong World, making it arguably the most technologically advanced world among all Jiang Li had been to.
“But why? What could be so interesting about the Void?”
There was nothing in the Void. It should not be worth observing, yet this world had spent so many resources observing it. This didn’t make sense and left the trio perplexed.
“I don’t know, perhaps seeing this world could provide an answer.”
The trio looked at each other and entered the world.
